OK, so, I was a fan of Elbow before today, right? Well, today, I discovered a newfound love for them I didn't even realize I had. It literally came out of nowhere. I had "Grounds for Divorce" stuck in my head all day after watching the music video, and I went home and listened to all the Elbow I had on my computer, in chronological order. :freak: I have no idea what has transpired here or how it happened. All I know is I'm suddenly very much in love with the band, and I'm really excited to hear LP5, which conveniently comes out approximately 2 weeks before my birthday. Oh, and I also have the hots for Guy Garvey. I love his voice, I love his lyrics, I love his face... :dead: Don't judge me. :embarrassed:

I first saw Pirate a long time ago when I noticed one of my friends had it as their language on Facebook. I thought it quaint for a bit, decided to try it, and ended up switching right back because I got that annoyed with it that quickly. :shrug:

It's not dangerously off or anything, so I wouldn't be too concerned-at least, not right now. I can tell it's different, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's bad. I will say that to me, now that I think about it, his voice seems a bit more stressed on those two albums than on the other ones, like he has trouble sometimes getting certain notes out.

Wow, you're a lucky one. :smiley: The only legit concert I've been to ("legit" meaning a classical music oriented concert that didn't take place at my university and that I actually travelled to go see) was in Richardson, around Dallas, and that's about 3 hours away from here.
