That song is the reason I even got into The National in the first place, so it kinda has some personal sentiment. Even if it wasn't, though, I really do prefer it. The intro to Kanye's "Runaway" is really drawn out, and it bugs me.

The cut-off date for the release dates on the albums for this countdown is November 30. Anything released in December of this year will carry over into next year's countdown. I think that Gorillaz album was released quite recently, so I'm afraid that one's a no-go.

Hurts? WUT. D: Nah, it's fine. It's just that I'm one of those people that love them. :tongue: In my mind, they're one of the most legit pop groups I've ever heard. It seems that their post-Meteora stuff keeps spiralling downward. I liked them a lot better when they weren't so pop-ish. That's because you're awesome. :cheesy:

Surfer Blood. There was a bit of hype for them here, and I checked them out. I actually found it to be a bit boring. :\

Deep fry the turkey. DO IT. ... OK, well, that wasn't very helpful. I just love fried turkey. On a more serious note, make sure you time the cooking of everything just right so you don't have one part of the meal sitting there getting cold while something else is still cooking.

This. Cheaper instruments aren't really the way to go. Case in point, some time ago (before high school), my parents bought me a clarinet at a flea market for $40. Yeah, it plays, but because it's a cheap clarinet made of plastic, the sound quality on it is les than desirable.

I often wrap my own presents. I'm not a pro, but I can wrap one fair enough without making it looked like it went through a windstorm or something. This year, my brother (the older of the two) had me give him a refresher course on how to wrap presents so he could wrap Christmas presents for his girlfriend. It was super cute. :blush:

It's only the limited deluxe edition that was released this year, and since there was the original release before that, that doesn't count. :\
