  1. Inorite? OH SNAP.
  2. It is very possible, yes.
  3. ^^ Ivet! What are you doing? Quit whipping Sufjan like that! :bigcry:
  4. On Tuesday afternoon, I was chilling out in the music lobby like I always do, and I suddenly hear a MIDI file playing "Take a Bow." I look at the guy sitting on the couch with his laptop, and I ask him, "Is that what I think it is?" Before he can answer, I move and sit next to him. I then see that he's working on a marching band arrangement of "Take a Bow" and "Knights of Cydonia." I got really excited, and the guy and I talk about it for a few minutes. I then ask him, "Are you just doing this for fun?" He said yes. Anyway, these past couple of days, he's been asking me to listen to it and give my input. Yesterday afternoon, he says, "Hey, come here. Knowing what a Muser you are, tell me what you think of this." It is incredibly awesome. :wacky:
  5. Actually, I hear tw@t quite often.
  6. Wow, that's specific.
  7. I'M NOOOOOT FUCKIN' AROOOOO-OOO-O-OOO-O-OOOOOUND. I'M NO-OOOOO-O-OOOOOT. :wacky:
  8. Yeah, she is. Did you really? Huh. Yeah, exactly. You can say that you like the song, but to declare yourself as a fan based on that is just retarded. I didn't know you were a Twilighter. That was new information for me. I read the first one. It tried to eat my soul. I didn't want to keep reading it, but for whatever reason, I couldn't stop. It was intense. I haven't watched any of the films, actually, so I wouldn't know about that. That is very true.

My mom used to donate blood all the time. Nowadays, it's harder for her. For some reason, her iron level ends up being too low.
  10. ^ I think that's because that word is more of a European thing.
  11. Qué bueno. :cheesy: Wow, really? I wouldn't have thought that. I've learned a lot from this thread. We as people only know what we are exposed to in terms of topics like this, I suppose.
  12. ^^ WHAAAAA? D: That is not OK.
  13. I'm feeling really good right now. How about you? :nice:
  14. ¡Por favor, no más frances! D:

OK, so I missed a lot by not reading the thread first. Multi-quote time! That seems so wrong. I think what it is in the US is that once you get a tattoo, you can't donate for a year. -Google search- Yeah, I just looked it up. Red Cross Link. I share my thoughts with NumbersGirl. That's ridiculous. D:
  16. Erika! :cheesy: I feel like we haven't talked in forever.
  17. Awww, sad day.
  18. Oh yeah, right. That makes more sense. Ohhhhh, OK.  Dude, I get what you mean. It makes me want to tell people, "Um, grow up and learn to use a bigger vocabulary."
  19. I live in Texas, where there's a huge population of Spanish speaking people, and a lot of those people don't know English. For practical purposes, it's a good idea to know how to speak Spanish in order to communicate with those people. Personally, I love learning new things. I took Spanish for all four years in high school, even though I only was required to have three. Really, I wish I could use it more so I could get really good at it again. I'm probably a bit rusty. I also have books for teaching myself to speak Italian and French, even though being a music major has caused me to put this stuff on the backburner for now. When I visit this forum, I often think about how ignorant we Americans are. We don't bother to learn other languages so much, and we don't do it nearly to the extent of foreingers learning English. In my senior year of high school, we had this German exchange student in the band program who I ended up being good friends with. He spoke VERY good English, with only a slight German accent. He explained to me that he'd started learning English in the second grade. That blew my mind. I wish we did more stuff like that here in the United States. We could become so much more culturally enriched by learning more variety of languages earlier in life.
  20. That's just stupid. :blank: Since 6th grade? I didn't even know any swear words until I got to high school, let alone actually use them. Is that normal? :anxious: Yeah, I do, too. Sometimes when my dad pulls one of his douche acts, I can't help but go to my room and swear up a storm. I end up feeling better afterwards. I guess it's because it's an emotional release for me. Yeah, I know a person like that. Her swearing is pretty darn bad. Practically every other word that comes out of her mouth is a swear word. :/
  21. O HAI CHRISTINA. :awesome:
  22. Yeah, that bolded part is exactly how Carla is. She discovered Muse through "Twilight," then came to me to inquire more about them because she knew they were my favorite. I gave her a few suggestions, and the rest is history. CARLA I LOVE YOOOOOU. Anyway, having said that, I do get annoyed by people who claim to love someone when they really only know one song or something. There's so much more to an artist than just one song. :\ Heck yeah. :wacky: O RLY NAO? I didn't know that.
  23. Yes, I believe she did. Muse is her favorite, like us. She has included them in dedications in some of her books. I know they're included in the dedications for Breaking Dawn because a friend of mine showed it to me.
