  1. I didn't know there was a Bastille thread! :surprised: I really really like them. And I love Dan's voice, I think it is pretty cool :awesome: (and it seems like he sings so effortless)
  2. Yes. It was in 2011 (I think it was the Bilbao show, or something like that), there was supposedly going to be a radio livestream but in the end it didn't happen. I don't remember who said Dan Green ("Mr. Soundman", as they called him) chose not to stream it. So tumblr began to blame him and overreact (as tumblr usually does :dozey:) I don't know if he had something to do or not  But tumblr blamed him.
  3. For some reason or the other I haven't been able to order the issues from the shop. But now that it is on itunes I didn't think it twice and bought all of them! :D I must admit that I enjoyed them more than what I thought I would! Can't wait for issue #4!
  4. I saw them last friday and it was amazing! :awesome: However I made the mistake of being on the 4th row so I was being crushed to death until I realized I wasn't going to last and had to go a lot of rows back. But after that everything was perfect! I really liked the setlist, I could do without Smile Like You Mean It but Bones was definitely a nice surprise! Here's Ronnie playing with Louis XIV:
  5. I was really looking forward to an april fools joke :disappointed:
  6. I don't like pap pictures, but THOSE PICTURES :dead::dazzled:
  7. He's so sweet! :wacky: Thank you for sharing your story with us! I always enjoy reading people's stories, and I always get excited when I'm reading them :P
  8. In case you can't wait there's a video on tumblr that seems to be taped from a tv or computer, sound is good though.
  9. Dammit! I missed it! :( But I'm very happy that they won, they deserve it! :cheesy: (POC, no, that one doesn't deserve anything) And Will + Jonny!:wacky::heart:
  10. Yes, apparently you can get them at Fantástico/ComiCastle (they have stores in Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara and Querétaro, not sure if all of them have them or how many copies they have) Edit: and they are about $56pesos ($4.5 dollars) each.
  11. Ohhh you are right :surprised: I hadn't actually looked for them. Unfortunately the shipping is almost 5x the price of the comic (:stunned:)... So I guess I'll just wait a few more months and order them from the official store (and wait ages for each one of them to arrive) or wait until the six issues are all released and order them in a bundle or something.
  12. If they hadn't postponed (then canceled) the Latin American dates I'd be seeing them live right now :bigcry:
  13. I hope they somehow find their way to Amazon, because the normal shipping is a lot faster and I don't find it that expensive. So, in the meantime no MX comic for me :(
  14. Sounds interesting! Hello, and welcome! :D
  15. In my opinion it's all very weird, because they will probably still be in the middle of a hiatus and it was said a few days ago that they weren't coming here in 2013... Let's see if we get some sort of official confirmation/denial of it. I'd prefer to think it's not true until it's actually happening :P
  16. Here's another article that has different quotes, that's why I don't think it is recycled from the one that was previously posted here. Coldplay will give two free concerts in Mexico against violence Mexico City.- After disappointing hundreds of fans when they announced that their Latin American tour was canceled because of logistic reasons, Coldplay will give concerts in Monterrey and Guadalajara, as part of the activities of the Non Violence foundation. According to Mauricio Bermudez and Erick Sánchez representatives of the foundation headed by Yoko Ono, they confirm that the english band will give two free concerts. "It is a fact that Coldplay will give free concerts in Mexico, but the dates aren't confirmed yet, we only know that it is going to be between september and october because of the celebration of peace" said Sánchez. The idea is that Coldplay does the presentations on an open space free of charge for the fans. "As the foundation celebrates 20 years of continuous work and 30 of existence, the idea is to make a festival in the month of peace, september, and with as many activities as possible", said Mauricio Bermúdez, director of Non Violence Latin America.
  17. Greetings my fellow fangirls! I don't post here but I do lurk every once in a while, I'll probably come here more often :nice: Anyway I just wanted to say that I'm liking the beard! Reminds me of the NRJ 2009's beard! :wacky: And a little present for you from my private collection:
  18. ^ "I'm just going to make this part a little to the right... I bet it looks great, and I didn't even need a mirror!" :laugh3:
  19. :wacky: I wonder what Guy was thinking when he dressed up like that for the Grammys (well, all of them, but Guy just stands out)
  20. I guess they have instructions to keep quiet. I remember that the day of the announcement people asked Ocesa if they had any info about Coldplay's visit and they replied "we don't know anything yet", and a few hours later the dates were announced and they published the price of the tickets. I'm sorry you didn't like anything of this album, but your comment comes across as super mean because there were thousands of people waiting them to come, and your are pretty much saying that you are glad they are not coming. It's like they are trying to cover it up like if it had never happened. Like they never planned to come here.
  21. Unfortunately not :( I could have gone to one of the Houston shows (maybe, it wasn't 100% possible) but I didn't :\
  22. I appreciate that they finally came out and said "stop wasting your time, it's not happening". Nevertheless, I'm really really sad. :bigcry: I still find it really weird why was the tour cancelled all of the sudden, "unexpected circumstances" and "beyond their control", but I guess we will never find out... I'll just keep waiting then...
  23. I really liked it! I wish I could have participated on the project as well but the Sede Guadalajara doesn't seem to have any activity at all :( Yeah, we know, it won't make then come any sooner that what they want/have planned but all we want (or at least me) is something like "we'll work on it" or a "forget about it guys, wait another 3years"
