Sorry, I just got pretty upset because when I made that post I was just being chill and civilized and people saw it as whining and ruining everyone's day, and even like a month after I guess it's still seen as me being a dick. I never said the threads were stupid and useless. Like I could've been more bitter and insulting like 5 other people were but I don't even want to act like that cos what will it resolve. I didn't really care about the threads, I cared about the fact that some people that I liked didn't post anymore and I couldn't really talk about anything if it wasn't Keane or The Hobbit. Do you think I go out of my way to make people feel crappy? No, no way. You're free to talk about whatever you like, whenever you like, as long as it doesn't make people feel unwelcome to post. And then someone talks to you about how they feel about it, and then the problem is over. Not complaining, not insulting, etc. I'm sorry if it looks like I've made too many threads. Right now I see two, one of them I don't even want to be there because it's bumped from like last year, but yeah I can definitely see where you're coming from as it adds up with the threads all the people that were involved. I'll tone it down if it's bothering you, thanks for letting me know

Then say it to me personally and actually get the problem resolved, rather than making some sly dig in a thread.

Yep, that's why I said 'we' and not 'you all, but ignore me please as I have nothing to do with it' Because (at least the most famous kinds of) rock music is mainly by white men, and I guess personally I just have a preference because a majority of the famous guys I've fancied were white. Well yeah it doesn't matter, I was just observing the fact that 15 responses or so on, all the men that people were attracted to were white. Not a critique, just something I thought was fairly interesting. Chris Martin is white and I don't know who Pat Smear is. I'm not attracted to Hendrix. EDIT: Oh I see what you were saying about Chris Martin. Okay. You missed the point though.

Also why are we only mentioning white people

Tbh I'm unsure how multiple chatrooms would be a good thing, like Reilly said only like 5 people talk regularly and maybe a few dozen people popped in to say hi during its history, splitting those people up would just make chat happen once every few hours, in which case why not just use the forums EDIT: If the chatroom wasn't so dead, the "X posted in Y thread" thing wouldn't be an issue, like I said I'm not negating anything, I actually like the idea, but realistically how would seperating the chatrooms make dozens of people turn up and start chatting

Woah that's cool. I moved to the U.S. from Romania when I was 6, and I feel the same. I just feel no cultural ties to that country and I don't feel like I'm a true Romanian, doesn't matter if I was born there. Gonna visit for the first time in like 8 years this summer though, will be really exciting :wacko:
