Bowie isn't such an annoying cock as the Stones are though so I think it's less likely he would do something like that.

I didn't like the last album. But I feel like the next album, a much more evolved version of MX, would sound pretty nice. So I'm optimistic about the future, I think they tried to take a risk and do something they enjoyed, and tbh it was a bit of a bump in the road like X&Y (which is actually my favorite album), but they can use what they learned from that experimentation to create something as nicely done as Viva.

I don't have an opinion of 2nd Law because I got bored and stopped listening half-way through :disappointed: Actually, it's the same with Mylo Xyloto, I'm not even sure if I listened to it in its entirety, I think I did I just don't see the point of putting myself through 30 more minutes of unpleasantness if I hear that the first 30 minutes are already unpleasant. Faulty logic yeah, cos it could've gotten a lot better had I listened a few minutes more, and I do if someone advises me to, but if it only improves slightly really what's the point. Great, you found a slightly less mediocre song in a sea of mediocre? I forgot what my point was. Oh yeah, how do people have the patience to finish through a 'dreadful' album if the vast majority turns out to be disappointing??
