Yeah, I don't like bitching and bitching either, and if he posted multiple times about it, or made some 200-paragraph post about it, I surely would've been irritated too. But I wanted to defend him cos he just mentioned something once. I feel like calling it bitching is uncalled for. Like your analogy, "MOM I WANT TO GO TO THE BEACH IT SUCKS HERE" is indeed whining, but "I like the beach" or even "it would be nice to go to the beach in this weather" is not at all! I don't want to claim ownership to that thread now, I don't even wanna claim ownership to things I said a few weeks ago. I really feel like I am maturing as a person every day. I keep striving to be a kind, diplomatic, but honest person. I really apologize about that and I'm sorry that I never gave you a formal apology when you sent me a PM. Sometimes I thought about this so often that I gave myself a migraine. I just don't care at all anymore. If someone's on their soap box arguing that their religion is the only true one, I'll listen, but it won't affect my standing. I don't know, I'll die without ever knowing. And that's fine with me as long as I stick around with the people I love and do something for the people that are less fortunate than me. EDIT: I also don't believe anyone should feel guilty for being unsure if they're doing the right thing in life. I refuse to believe in any god who knows you were a good and loving person and will persecute you anyway for just not identifying with his religion.

It's not complaining, Brent, he's just talking. If discussing something you read was always classified as complaining, then the world would be a much angrier place. I had a feeling you'd instantly jump in and make some remark as soon as I read that, though. :shame:

Similar situation here, having an awful time making new friends Every time I ask for advice... "find people you have things in common with" "find people you have things in common with" Unfortunately people don't have massive flippin neon red signs on their forehead that say 'I LIKE THIS BAND' etc. It's amazing how in a school of 3000+ kids, how few people will have the decency to turn around and pretend you're there when you say "hi, I'm new here and I wanna make some friends" And it sucks because I have such a tough time making new friends so it insults me personally a bit I've been meaning to join some other clubs / learn some sports but I'm exhausted enough as it is aghhhh Also I don't know how to play any sports because I'm a lazy **** This isn't really giving you a solution but just me complaining as well hahah :anxious:
