  2. fuck i genuinely thought it was a spider
  3. yes do it if you don't do it I will
  4. Hmm Get your undergrad at a community college and transfer to a uni? Transfer students from community colleges are chosen over high school graduates (you'd also save tens of thousands of dollars with this) Or go to a normal uni and transfer to a fancy top 50 uni later? I don't know what to tell you. I'm pretty sure I read once that test scores are more important than grades. Cos if you know the material, who cares if you didn't turn in some assignments? I used to be obsessed with going to a top 50 university but I've seen the unis close to me and I really like how the classes are small and how everything is less rigid, less snobby people. Still, I admire your ambition! You know, so many people don't even bother to finish high school and look at you! You should be proud. I don't want to encourage you slacking off, because I know you have a plan to get through, but I just want you to see that you've worked very hard and you don't have to feel worried. And that's all I have to contribute to this thread. Good luck and don't stress yourself out!
  5. Oh I thought you were genuinely in trouble I'm sorry but you need to sit the fuck down I've gotten GPA's lower than 1.0 that's 'not caring anymore' I don't understand why you're worrying dear
  6. fuck off hippie
  7. If it's a zero-poster who hasn't logged on in forever, you can ask Ian to give you his name. That's how I got this name
  8. Your parents/school/etc. scare you into thinking middle school and high school are the most important years of your life and if you don't do well you'll never get a job. It's really bullshit. I don't mean to say that you shouldn't work hard at all, but you don't have to feel like a failure if you're a bit behind. Everyone fails. I've failed a million times and people still think I'm gonna be successful! Someone already mentioned it before, but when I am worried or afraid, I make a list of what's wrong and I often realize that the fear is irrational and there's not really anything to be afraid of. Then think about what you need to do to get your grades where they need to be. Talk to your teachers after class or if you're too nervous, leave them a note or send them an e-mail. Be persistent. Show them you really care. And don't wait until the last day of school! I do this all the time and I realize that I had so many opportunities to ask for help but I was too stubborn to ask someone. You can get through this! Good luck!

Hi, I'm the Coldplaying matchmaker. Have you met Lory?
  11. No it doesn't what kind of handicapped dialect of English are you speaking?
  12. Well...yes I agree but nobody was talking about that Brent :uhoh: why are you mentioning it because I made a joke thread about dating people online? Even if it was serious I would obviously still need to know how the person on the other side looks like :uhoh2: Even if I would never meet them
  13. THEY'RE NOT REAL PEOPLE THEY SHOULD BE EXECUTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well what do you want us to say if they are happy and the relation works for them, then that's great It's just like a normal relationship to me :uhoh:
  14. So? You're very funny and polite! Do you think if you both don't agree on something he will make it his life mission to reject anything American and destroy every American on the planet? Besides, even if he does meet an asshole on his day trips to NYC, he will like you and that's what matters.
  15. ^ Congrats! I don't even know where I'm going with school in 2012 :uhoh:
  16. Thanks for the replies, guys, gave me a lot to think about. :surprised: Hahahaha! Did you join the forum just to post a reply hahaha nice Yep, I figure that's what a lot of musicians do. Me, I would be terrified of listening to my own songs because it would never sound as nice as it did when it was initially in my head
  17. That sounds awesome! I have a friend who does these exchange trips to Germany all the time (why is it always to Germany...hmm) and she says she adores it. She's the one going though, not hosting. I think it would be a more comfortable situation if you are trying to make a new friend or something, because you don't have to struggle speaking a new language and try to conform to a new culture, you just have someone over as your guest :) Why would he/she judge you? First of all, as a guest, he/she (let's make it a guy :uhoh:) is kinda expected to be polite to you. And over time he will warm up to you and your family. And having him around the house means you can hang out a lot. You can even take him to a place you like or sit and chat/listen to music/play games when he has some spare time. Overall, it's your mom's decision, as she's the one who decides who's in the house, but to me it sounds like you wanna do it, and there's not really anything to lose, just an interesting experience and most likely making a new friend
  18. will u go out w/ me
  19. Scandinavia and the World! :dazzled: You've brought back my obsession from two years ago.
