I hope Radiohead don't do Glastonbury. I don't think they should be grouped with bands like U2, Coldplay or The Rolling Stones. They are way past that, musically...

I guess Glastonbury doubles as an experience as well as a music festival. Coachella not so much.

I would be quite surprised if they sold 50 million records... So, the music industry is booming but the record industry is dying? whatever. I saw an interview with Bradford Cox (Deerhunter, Atlas Sound) and even though Deerhunter are quite a large band in the indie world, he doesn't make enough money from album sales to pay rent, buy food etc. It's the live shows/merchandise that give him enough money to make a living. I like it this way. It means i can illegally download albums without feeling bad!! (actually, recently I downloaded a lot of Jeffrey Lewis albums and I felt bad because he is definitely not that famous and I won't be able to see him any time soon so I bought a t-shirt online. more people should do that)

I think Coachella is better than Glasto in general. The thing about Coachella is that it's always a solid lineup. Even the acts in the smallest writing are amazing. I don't think it's the same with Glastonbury.

NO ONE MAN SHOULD HAVE ALL THAT FLOUR um, anyway. One of the things I didn't like about mbdtf was how it went from Dark Fantasy straight to Gorgeous. Dark Fantasy is an amazing opener for the album, it's an incredible song. I think it would be great if it went to Power after DF. They're both 'epic' songs. But I find Gorgeous to be incredibly boring...

I think he's just straining his voice as a new style kind of thing. He sings very softly on the other albums. also, 11 days until I see him...

I have/will travel to Auckland for bands I really care about. I went to Coldplay there, lol. It's an 8 hour drive or something ;-; but only a 1 hour flight. (too bad domestic flights in NZ are really expensive. it's ridiculous) I would travel to Australia to see Radiohead, I think. No one else though.
