heh...that's pretty terrible... And as I said, not all of Thom's or Morrisey's lyrics are amazing. "I woke up sucking on a lemon" obviously isn't one of his best lines.

This list is made by VH1, let me remind you. As much as we'd like The Smiths, Joy Division etc to be on this list, it's just not going to happen. Those bands didn't have enough mainstream appeal, I guess. I can't agree that Johnny Marr is a better composer (many of The Smiths songs sound the same...). I feel like Morrissey and Thom Yorke have the same amount of talent in lyrics. Both of them have some incredible and some terrible lyrics...
