reverb on vocals is only cool if there is A LOT of reverb.

Wilco. I struggle to listen to some of their earlier albums. even Yankee Hotel Foxtrot... and in my opinion, they're one of the best live bands ever!

I don't see what's wrong with going to shows alone. I went to one a few months ago and I ended up meeting some people who i would later on become pretty good friends with!

Why? Sure the genres won't be popular for decades to come, but the bands will still be making music? I never understand it when people say that. Anyway, I really like this Surf Rock stuff. But only some bands have managed to interest me. eg. I really like Best Coast and Wavves, but I find it hard to listen to The Drums and even Beach House...
