Unfortunately there were no butterflies or fireworks and the stadium was still half full since Coldplay opened the Sydney show because they had their own show that night as well. But there were balloons! I'm so glad that they didn't play an acoustic show like they originally announced and instead went ahead with the "full band mode". Seven songs of complete awesomeness. :D

Ah this means I get to relive this awesome musical experience whenever I want now! :P

Following a historic Helpmann Award win for Sound Relief last night, Michael Gudinski announced plans to release the highly anticipated Sound Relief DVD. The 4 DVD set will feature highlights of EVERY artist who performed at Sound Relief in over 9 hours of footage. Released on October 2 through Liberation Music you're best to mark that date down now. Yayayay! This means that it will have Coldplay's performance and the now infamous "Chris Martin run". :P EDIT: The DVD will be released on October 9. Basically, this mailing exchange is for a PHYSICAL copy of LeftRightLeftRightLeft which can also be downloaded for free at Coldplay.com. The band started giving away the physical copy at the beginning of the American (?) leg of the tour during their shows but not at festivals.

Aww I got all excited 'cause it wasn't some obscene time but then I remember I'm going to my friend' joint birthday party. :cry: Damn! I always seem to miss out on any sort of Coldplay related live stream. Woe is me. :P Someone please record this.

Chris seems like such a nice guy but people seem to mistake his humour.

I completely forgot to watch Rove. Had a feeling she might talk about Chris since she kept mentioning him in newspaper articles in Australia.

Wasn't Chris' mum a music teacher? I'm guessing she was the one that taught him how to play. Does that count as formal music lessons?

Chris looks absolutely gorgeous with the new hair cut. Plus he looks so young now!

This is so sad and such a shock. Especially since he only survived from that plane crash not so long ago.
