  1. That is very true indeed. GDA does not lie. :D I saw Green Day twice last month *points to sig* and their set was 2.5 - 3 hours long with the setlist changing every night. The shows have been 2.5 - 3 hours long every night on the 21st Century Breakdown tour.
  2. Sing For Absolution - Muse
  3. Yay! The video for Resistance is finally out. :D http://www.mtv.com.au/music/artists/muse/v...istance-470722/ Non-Aussie Musers will probably have to watch in on their own MTV website, if that makes any sense. :\
  4. Does the board censor stuff? :laugh3:
  5. Muse have reached New Zealand and are currently playing cricket with none other than Lily Allen? I can't wait to see the Twitpics of them in Australia! Not long to go now.
  6. Hmm... I've skipped heaps but here's a sample: Green Day Muse Coldplay Simple Plan Good Charlotte Cobra Starship The Academy Is... Eskimo Joe Fall Out Boy And heaps more that only have one or two albums.
  7. I know! :awesome: I'm sooo excited, never seen Muse live before. Their setlist keeps changing every night. Dead Star and Can't Take My Eyes Off You were played at the last show! :shocked2:
  8. Resistance is the next single! I have a feeling this is gonna do worse on the charts than Undisclosed Desires did. http://muse.mu/news/article/579/resistance-single-release---watch-30-seconds-of-the-video-now/ I was hoping they would film a pwoper video for the new single but the stage set up is so amazing I actually don't mind the whole live footage video.
  9. Oh but it is real! http://muse.mu/links/ :D The rest of the band has one too, but Matt's the only one who has actually signed in and stuff.
  10. Green Day in Sydney 2009! I didn't take the photo. I was on the barrier that night. :D
  11. Invincible - Muse
  12. Ah! Matteh has Facebook! :D http://www.facebook.com/#/pages/MATT-BELLAMY/63737395119?ref=nf
  13. ^^ That is quite amazing. I hope they open all the nacho and pizza shops they have during the Sydney Royal Easter Show during Big Day Out. If I'm reading the map correctly, they should all be within the BDO grounds.
  14. The last time I went to a "festival" (if you can call Sound Relief one), my friends and I survived on hot chips and Gaytimes.
  15. It's not necessarily the waiting for Muse part I'm worried about. Most of the time the support act for bands I like really suck! :P It's more of the fact I'm going with my sister and she listens to completely different music to me (most of the time) so I'll have to watch acts that her and her friends (she decided to invite with asking me) wanna watch. Bad comes to worse I'll just have to pull the "I'm the one who managed to get us Big Day Out tickets, so we listen to what I want" card on her. I'm probably coming off as a downright bitch. :embarassed:
  16. Thank you! :) That's all I can think of at the moment. I think the only problem I'm gonna have on the day is having to stand through music I don't wanna listen to.
  17. It's just ... different? I dunno, I'm just really use to going to normal gigs. With them, I know what time to get there, what to wear, where to be, what the situation with food & drinks is, when to get merch, how to get a good spot etc. Plus I don't have to go through as many other acts before I get see the band I like. :P
  18. I feel like such a n00b when it comes to festivals. Damn you Muse for playing at Big Day Out!
  19. I agree, red is :awesome: But I prefer ... Brown and fluffy!
  20. Compared to the Melbourne one? It's basically the same. Compared to the fake one however ... practicaly all the stages are mixed up. The order is different for quite a few acts. Hmm, I've just noticed that there's no mention of any "special appearance" anymore.
  21. I'm not too fond of the official timetable. I think there may be even more clashes than the fake on did! And I haven't even put into consideration what my sister wants to see.
  22. The official timetables and maps have been released. http://bigdayout.com/news/newsletter.php?NewsletterId=33
  23. Muse! :D (Seeing them in ... 19 days!)
