I have nothing against Death Cab For Cutie or 'Meet Me At The Equinox', I just dislike how the song became an anthem for all the teenie boppers who don't really appreciate that it's a nice song, they only like it because it's attached to 'New Moon'. :rolleyes: I use to be a fan of Paramore but after they released 'Decode', they gained so many teenie bopper fans I couldn't really stand listening to them anymore. :\

I love that song. :love: I was watching some documentary about the American Idiot Musical and they talked about 'When It Time'. There's a clip of where they show John Gallagher Jr playing the song to the band then the camera pans back to Adrienne... it's such a sweet moment. Actually the version they recorded with the American Idiot Musical cast is quite beautiful as well. John Gallagher Jr has such a lovely voice. :nice:

I saw them on the Muse board... I'd actually be quite happy if these turn out to be the real dates. I'll definitely go to both Sydney shows and not have to worry about going to a Melbourne show instead. :)

Oh I forgot to post this yesterday... I was on the Muse messageboard and the UK and Australian winners of the Myspace 'Get Close With Muse' comp hinted that we will be getting some kind of news concerning Australia when the interview they did with Matt and Dom gets released at the end of the month. I'm hoping the news they were talking about are the Australian Tour dates but I guess we'll have to wait until the end of the month to find out. :)

I know there are some stores in Australia participating in Record Store Day. :)

Mmm, yeah I can see similarities between the chord progression in both songs but the two songs themselves are very different. :)

Where did you find that out? Well from what I've read in Muse's biography and seen/heard in interviews, he had one or two lessons when he was young but found it difficult to be taught so he just taught himself how to play by ear. I don't really think that counts as classically trained. Which is why he can't read sheet music though he probably can now since he had to write Exogenesis. :)

This! :) At a Muse gig, I don't expect Matt to say more than the odd "Cheers" or "Thanks". There's barely any banter at their shows, that is replaced by riffs and instrumentals.

Jeez, I never knew that Matt's breathing annoyed so many people. Contrary to popular belief, he is human. :p For someone who hasn't been trained in singing (or any other instrument he plays) I think he does an amazing job on his vocals. So are you saying that because it's unlikely people will recognise the members of Muse, they have very little heart or soul? :thinking:
