reviews have been mixed. I haven't read the book in a long time, so I don't remember a lot of the little details. that may help me enjoy it more. I'm seeing it Saturday :D

If it was funny I would laugh at it. That's the great thing about jokes, if you're comfortable with who you are, they can't really hurt you.

Despereaux, why did you change your post? You laughed at my joke and I wanted to show Josh42 what laughter was since he's obviously never experienced it.

Was I making an entirely serious statement? Did I say I was completely serious and that I based my life off what I said? No. It's a joke. Live with it.

I've heard and said that joke in front of plenty of religious people and they don't care. If you find what I said offensive, it means you have a lack of confidence in your religion. If someone calls me stupid I won't be offended since I know it's not true. But if someone says I suck at guitar, I might get annoyed as I am not so confident in my guitar playing. The only time people can't laugh at a joke is when they are concerned that their might be truth behind it.
