The fact that he just ignored me doesn't cover up for that in any way. But that was clearly not the case anyway. Yeah, Scandinavians generally are very self-conscious. I lived 7 months in Spain and I just really felt that the people was more caring and polite. The young people also had respect for the elderly people while here we just throw them in a nursing home and stop caring about them when they reach their 70's. To be fair I have to say that at the times I've been in the UK there hasn't been a big from contrast from what I'm experiencing here in Sweden. And America being fake polite is obviously better than just ignoring and generally being an assholes.I've been wondering about these kinds of situations as well. What goes through peoples minds when they decide to be impolite? Some peoples lack of basic moral makes me angry. For instance, yesterday when I was at a music thing with a lot of people around me I offered a guy a spot in front me since he was a little shorter but he stared at me like if I was dumb and just started talk to his friend again. He could've at least say 'no thank you'.None of them is better than the other. This is up to you, its your needs and if you want to get advice you should at least be a little more specific...
