  1. *professional
  2. probably yellow. I would hate playing that song at almost every gig for the last 9 years too.
  3. I get full albums and such off filesharing sites megaupload, rapidshare, mediafire, etc.
  4. yeah Palladia shows it alot. like once or twice a week. and by the way, I have Time Warner Digital Cable, and I get this channel in HD. 284.
  5. my cousin's friend. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryjk-W3NpoE]YouTube - JCPenney Schooled in Style Breakout Performer - Don Nguyen[/ame]
  6. ^ I don't like Parachutes that much either, but A Rush of Blood to the Head was the shit...
  7. seeing as how they have released an album every 3 years since they came out. I'm guessing maybe 2011 at the latest. but It seems like 2010 is most probable.
  8. good point. tack piano was a nice addition. and the drums on lost were a nice change.
  9. I enjoyed Lovers In Japan so much when I first heard it.
  10. be my guest. ROBTTH ftw?
  11. haha thanks, I just started really looking at the board recently.
  12. i thought he was somewhat humble in the College Dropout era.... but yeah. 808s was the worst thing I've heard in a while. and about the next album, it's supposed to be mellower, which sounds fine to me. I'm just kinda sick of the VLV material...I haven't even listened to anything on the album in a solid couple weeks.
  13. I mean I understand that completely, some artists he really needs to keep his mouth shut, and his last album was total shit. But back when he was humble and had his first album, that was straight hip-hop, it was good. but anyways, since this thread is about Coldplay changing, i'm gonna just get back to the point I wanted to make... VLV seems like just a phase, hopefully the next LP is mellower, and has a less flamboyant tone to the tour, hopefully back to the all black, or something of the sorts.
  14. I understand that, but I mean Thom Yorke isn't exactly the nicest guy in the world either. A lot of either big headed, or just plain rude musicians. By all means, Kanye is sort of a douche, but I don't really care for the type of person he is. and for your last comment on my post, Kanye and Jay-Z don't fall into any of those categories. Kanye has songs about the Black Panthers, Jesus, his mother, his near fatal accident, growing up in Chicago, dropping out of college, and such. and Jay-Z has 10 records (do you really think he could talk about money, cars, clothes, pussy, etc. for 10 straight records.)
  15. well most people I know aren't really big on the whole internet forum type of thing, so I don't really care.
  16. no...the reason kids are fucking morons is this bullshit All Time Low, Cobra Starship, Fall Out Boy, , emo, 30h3, paramore bullshit ass music. If you really feel that rap music is the worst, then you live in a box. In fact, hip hop acts, have led to a couple decades of great music (Beastie Boys, RUN-DMC, N.W.A., Afrikaa Bambatta, Big L, Slick Rick, Red & Meth, and countless others) 80s and 90s acts, that unlike some didn't need costumes, or gimmicks. but oh well, no use preaching to the ignorant about music. Those who shut out whole genres, are the most retarded people of all.
  17. alot of hate there. But Jay-Z is one of the most legendary active rapper right now. Reasonable Doubt was a classic. Kanye's College Dropout was sick too, both one of the few rappers who can actually give quality performances, as well as still make good music.
  18. I have mixed feelings. I'm a fan of both Jay and Kanye so I like the influence Coldplay has on them. I hated the costumes at first, but after a while it grew on me. I do feel like Chris Martin messes up more often during VLV performances, than he has in past tours. I do like the huge extravagance of the VLV tour however, because I am just a big concert type of person. Viva La Vida took a while for me to get used to (like a week.), but then afterward I just felt like it was a really good album, and X & Y also took a while for me to get used to, and it might just be my favorite album of theirs. (or maybe ROBTTH) I don't feel like they've sold out, if that's what you are trying to come across, but I feel like they've just matured a little bit, in both musical style and personal preference. I feel it's okay though, plus they have said that LP5 will me more mellow than VLV, and I expect the tour will probably be a lot more like Twisted Logic. I did feel the all black look with the Adidas Superstars, more mellow, and less screaming girls tripping out over the colors and shit. but I guess it's fine though, they're just doing what they want to do. but I do feel some of you who hate those girls who get their panties wet over their looks, rather than their playing, and don't even know half the songs on the set lists, or if they do, they don't know any of the non-VLV songs. Which is why I never take a girl on a date to a concert...worst experience ever.
  19. Technically, for twisted logic, they had the Toronto video, which was a full, complete concert with the full twisted logic set list, which was meant for DVD, they just never released it, and put it on TV, and now its all over the internet. but yeah. Viva La Vida is one of those tours that needs a DVD. World Stage doesn't cut it. I missed out on VLV because of some stupid shit, so I want the full show.
  20. Coldplay Radiohead The Strokes Jay-Z Kanye West Drake Kaiser Chiefs The Killers The Beatles Lupe Fiasco I have a lot more favorites, but these were the ones off the top of my head.
  21. probably Warning Sign, What If, White Shadows, or Swallowed in the Sea.
  22. I got accepted as an oxfam member for this one, but my brother might not be able to be there...and I need him because I'm under 18.
  23. i got lawn seats, this will be my first coldplay concert, but i think it will be great.
