I enjoy The Dove's...I would have to say my fav song is "firesuite"...I think that The Dove's didn't get a lot of love as Coldplay because the video for "yellow" got a lot of publicity on MTV and was insta-hit and was probably their safe song on the album... I don't think the Dove's had a "homerun" on that album that came out around the same time of Parachutes.

the scientist, in my place, lover's in japan (osaka remix)... and when I go joggin here in San Diego, a 5 mile strip on the beach, that I time so when I'm just about done the sun is just touching the horizon, where the sky is just fading from blue to black and the stars are peeking out, I play Life in Technicolor ii and watch the sun disappear and become morning in another part of the globe.

Chris Martin explains the Osaka Sun refrence Check this Japanese interview of Coldplay on youtube in regards to "lovers in Japan", he starts explaining the song at 3:13 [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bc7N5vaRwIw]YouTube - COLDPLAY ?Next to the Osaka sun) - Interview Japan 2009 - part, 1 (Hyakumandoru no yakei?)[/ame] Basically when he used to play in Japan Chris Martin used to stay in Osaka and he had a hotel room with a million dollar view and the sun just looked different in Osaka, so he used that as inspiration for one of the cuts on the new alblum. ABSOLUTELY LOVE "lovers in Japan", used to be my least favorite song on the album until I was running one day with my iPod on and this song came on right as the sun was rising over the water here in San Diego and I stopped running and stood there in awe of nature and for some strange reason I felt close to God at that moment in time. That's the beauty of music and that's the beauty of Coldplay, thier music conjures specific emotions and pulls on certain strings that make you stop and stare in awe of the world around us.
