One time I had my Kid A CD on me, so I decided to play it during my drawing class and everyone hated it. Ashamed, I had to slowly sneak my way to the back, try as discretely as I could to take out my CD and switch it to the radio. At the same time, I know that most people are completely disinterested in what I listen to and probably would hate 90% of it, so unless I know it's something they might like, I mostly just try to keep to my music to myself.

I didn't read this thread, but I just have to say I love John Cusack so much! A couple weeks ago, I spent my weekend rewatching a lot of Cusack films (it's a tradition I started where my friends and I might watch movies all related to a theme or actor) and I forgot how many Cusack movies I love until I had a whole list of them that I felt I just HAD to see again.

You're so lucky you got to see them! This is one of those bands I just have to see before I die. Glad you had fun, though. It's hilarious that he supporting band set off the fire alarms! hahaha. Can't wait to see the pictures.

I like both Fiona Apple's and Rufus Wainwright's cover of Across The Universe and Oasis' cover of I am The Walrus (but mostly because of the story behind it), but that's about it. I don't think I've heard Dove's cover of Blackbird, though. Oh, wait. EDIT: I forgot about Ray Charles' cover of Yesterday. It's so beautiful, I might like it more than the original.
