I have a black pair which are about 8 years old now. And I bought a new maroon pair this summer. They're super popular here. It took me weeks to get a pair of them.

Did you ever hear of term Collective representations (Durkheim)? Basically it's combination of ideas and feelings from everyone through space and time which have developed to basically one collective idea over generations. This applies well to language. When people completely diverge from this collective idea then well.... ya look kind of mental. Just saying. :laugh3:
