I have a fever and I want my mom to be here and tuck me in and make me tea. :( She's three hours away, though.

Please wish my Kitty good luck
Oh, no poor Kitty. I remember when my cat (his name is Jack Daniel's, yeah, he's that awesome) had surgery last year (he came home with a big gaping hole in his stomach in the middle of the night and there weren't any animal hospitals open. I was home alone and completely freaked out. He was cool as a cucumber, though and just looked at me like I was crazy). Anyway, he was soo drugged when he came home from surgery, he fell asleep in his food, walked like a drunk and everything. I couldn't stop laughing! I felt so bad because it was so terrible for him but he looked so funny :shame: Kitty will be fine! Oh. My. Goodness. I'm dead. I can't stop laughing. :laugh3: What the hell?

Fashion etc.
It's easy to customize a regular duffel bag with studs like that :) Just buy some at a crafts store and glue 'em on! That's what punks do :smug: :P

Did you like 'Christmas Lights'?
Mhmm... And where is your man right now? :smug: CLUE: You might want to have a chat with him.
-
Did you like 'Christmas Lights'?
I have listened to them both, intently in fact. He's clearly been influenced by Wedding Bells, yes. Isn't he allowed to take parts of unreleased songs and put them together to make a better one?

The Coldplay Messenger
I don't think you have to be signed up! Oh, yeah, that thought crossed my mind last night. :wacky: Not counting on it, though :disappointed:
-
Did you like 'Christmas Lights'?
... I'm not following your logic but okay. Coldplay will never sound like Paramore. If you don't like it, then that's fine but it's a beautiful Coldplay sounding song that I think is very representative of them (even if it is a Christmas song).

New Coldplay Christmas Song 2010! Christmas Lights // behind-the-scenes footage in first post (parts
Here's a Swedish review of the single... Roughly translated by me :P 4/5 Coldplay - Christmas Lights On one hand Coldplay's new single is quite cliché. On the other - so is Christmas. It's the same theme, same feelings, same sound, year after year. But then again, why start a fight with Santa? "Christmas lights" starts out with the lyrics "Christmas night, another fight/Tears we cry, to flood" and finishes with a sampled New Year's firework. Coldplay Christmas single is not a new "Last Christmas", only a modern cliché fest. But don't be fooled. "Christmas lights" is in reality just as huge. The piano that carries Coldplay's Christmas anthem, their first single in almost two years, is magnificent. It's as if the Englishmen's weak "Strawberry Swing" has gotten a dozen turbo engines and extra rocket fuel as Christmas present. As usual when it comes to this orchestra it's around the seventh or eight listen that the whole drama unfolds. That which first sounds like a rather ordinary Elton John single with a tempo change too much soon turns into a string bejeweled football psalm with extra melancholy and a few snow covered minor chords to die for. Brilliant.
