Last year in December, on the radio. The DJ's said that Viva la Vida was going to win the Song of the Year award. When I heard "Coldplay", what came to mind was the stereotypical country rock band, beer bellies, long hair, shades and all. I expected the worst... And then, BOOM a delicious Baroque-ish sound explodes in my ears, and I hear Chris's lovely voice singing. I had mixed feelings on the song. I decided that I liked it, because my piano teacher recently got me to like classical music. Viva la Vida played on the radio a few hundred more times after that, and my mom kept saying as it came on, "Hey, Lhuna, your favorite song is on!" And I said, "Mm, okay," even though it wasn't my favorite. Then I grew to love Viva even more, and I grew to like Coldplay's other songs, too. That's how Coldplay and I met. We now live in a beach house in Tahiti and play local gigs together. The end. :wacky:

Never seen them in concert. :( The farthest I've ever went--staying up posting on Coldplaying, drawing their faces in my books, and blabbing about them to my friend.

Sounded like a pretty cool concert to me! I love ragtime, and it's pretty awesome knowing that Chris likes playing it, too!
