They have gotten more pretentious and have that superstar quality now. They need to make more Nappies videos. Chris has changed. I hate that little "I am God" face he had on the rolling stones cover. He is losing his humility, and morphing into big name sellable media crap. And I hate people who are like "i love coldplay! i totally like viva la vida" My response: Good for you. You like an (albeit very good)overplayed song from an iTunes commercial...hmmm. let me recommend you some better cp music! *hands parachutes and AROBBTH* wayyyy too popular now.

I already griped about this... but, I hate how they are always going on and on about how great other MEDIOCRE artists are. "Like omg Jay Z is the best and so is Kanye and I love Girls Aloud blah blah blah heck we even watch Hannah Montana!" SHUT UP! It sounds extemely fake and contrived. The fact that they listen/performed with Girls Aloud made me scream. Literally.

Yeah, I often thought he resembled a biblical character. That site is funny. I joined just to see what it was about. They only talk about Chris. Not coldplayy music per se. Not my cup of tea. I'm a big MJ fan. Since I was 4, Ive been dancing to his songs on cassettes. My friends listened to Britney Spears. I adored the dance and music of MJ. When he died, I was stunned. I didn't cry. I just refused to believe it. It was at the Carson show, when CP did Billie Jean that I finally cried. I found their cover beautiful. Chris' voice was emotional and beautiful as always and meshed well with the song. If it made ME cry(I barely cry), then it was a great cover. When people cover CP, I always get pissed so I guess I understand MJ fans..but whatever. It 's a great cover

The song "Wake Up" by Arcade Fire The film "Where the Wild Things Are" combined with that emotionally explosive song brings tears to my eyes. I just think of myself running through fields of daisies, wind in hair, and promising myself I would never give up my dreams and grow up. Alas, I did. But this film brings back carefree, innocent days. The song truly combines the sad loss of childhood and holding on to it. It's definitely in my top 10 favorite songs of all time. So, so, so great. anyone else hear it/feel the same way?

Well, I haven't had sleep for the past 4 days(the life of a high school senior applying to top ranking colleges this month, how lovely)so maybe I am just completely mad for being hit by this seemingly insane idea. They made Across The Universe. There was "We Will Rock You" in Vegas based on Queen songs. So come on, why not? Viva has that epic, musical quality. Admit it, this album was their most dramatic, theatrical, and "in your face". Also, many of the songs have a story like quality to it. Like Strawberry Swing, Cemeteries of London, Viva La Vida, Lost! could be the hero's big ballad with a huge chorus singing in the background!...heck...all of them... The story should be based around lovers falling in love around the French Revolution fighting for liberty and equality, I think. Like Dickens' Tale of Two Cities. I mused with this idea at around 3 AM while studying for a Poli Sci class, so forgive me if it sounds nonsensical. But you have to admit..like it or not..it's an interesting idea! 5 years down the road...i would like to see VLV the musical.. and I better get like 5%! ps Prospekt march songs can be included too..

I love Bohemian Rhapsody. It inspired my username here, my email, and etc. The daisy part is just my nickname at school. People call me daisy cause when I used to model people said I looked fresh like a daisy. But the bohemian part...that goes to what I believe is the best song EVER written. And Coldplay would be good at an "epic" song because they have that epic quality.

Oh I had the grossest dream EVER. The guys had a new album, and they went all 80s. They had the hair, eyeliner, and were shirtless with leather pants. Their music was a cross between Wham! and Depeche Mode. And Chris was moving in a very sensual manner on stage, with his leather pants low rise, his voice all deep and corny sounding..The lyrics were god awful. I woke up panting and sweaty. Let this not be LP5! LMAO. Oh and i had another dream where Chris was at my house playing my piano and told me that he loved me. It was like a 5 second dream. lol.

Long story, I'll make it short... When I was 10, I was rather an ugly duckling...lol!(no worries now, i grew out of that phase woot) and I was made fun of CONSTANTLY. Well, in 5th grade, we had this mini prom thing for graduating 5th graders going to middle school, and I was the only one without a date. PLUS, I was made fun of for it. The kids knew how to make me feel insignifant, ugly, etc. Have been teased for quite some time. I hate the kids, so I decided not to go, and I stayed home watching VH1 until very late. Then..this really simple( and dare I say it)rather terrible video came on. A guy on a beach in a black raincoat crooning to me while I wipe my tears. " Look at the stars...look how they shine for you...and all the things you do..." He was looking right at the camera and right at me. I literally felt like he was singing to me! The lyrics, albeit simple and strange and even nonsensical, were beautiful and made me feel special and loved. I don't know how to explain it. I was the lonely kid who was always picked on, but that night, all alone while everyone else was having fun, those yellow stars shone for me. And ta da, I fell in love with Chris and Coldplay! Soon after that video encounter, CP became really big in America. I bought A Rush of Blood to the Head the moment I heard Clocks. I knew Chris was a lyrical genius. I think that is their best single to date. That piano melody...damn! The Scientist made me weep and long for that kind of love when older. I've loved them ever since! PS When I saw Yellow live in Vancouver, I was front row. Chris looked right at me when he sang "you know I love you so" and I began to cry uncontrollably. Best 4 seconds ever. That song can really make a girl feel special. I consider it to be "my song" and want it to be played at my wedding when I walk down the aisle!

This time I will actually buy them on pre-sale instead of being lame and giving my money to people who take advantage of my Coldplay love! Are presale tix really cheaper and closer to stage? My friend got CP tix in Irvine for 120 dollars, 3rd row. I got them for 500 dollars, 10th row. What gives? Please reply to me...I want to plan better next time...lol
