Big meaning the hubabaloo that they got for this album...people going ape crazy whenever Viva La Vida played and everyone knowing that song... I somehow think not, and I hate to be pessimistic! Viva had so much fame, success, and acclaim. They won quite a few Grammys, no? Not that I think "fame" or "fanfare" is important(and should never be a consideration)..I am just stating an objective opinion and POV. I think it will be rather difficult to top VIVA. It was kind of too "in your face rockstar" anyway:dozey: Oh and , after hearing Wedding Bells and Christmas Lights...it doesn't sound like they would be too mainstream and "MTV", to me(:D..I personally think it's a good thing) Viva was so epic that its hard to top. I just hope their tours remain epic. I'm excited. :dance:

I hope it is a mixture of Viva and A Rush of Blood to the Head. Viva in terms of style and connection with fans and awesome tours. Viva was the best CP tour. A rush had the best, most heartfelt music. I would not want a purely acoustic album. Maybe one or two. But I want some in the style of LiT2 on there, too. All acoustic is boring. ALL of only one thing, whatever style, is borin. Variety is the spice of life. Less fanfare? That will never happen. Make crappy music first. If he means not being on Top40 and having teenies screaming Viva La Vida everywhere, then thats alright.

Kanye once said he was bigger than Coca Cola. Whatever that means. I liked the song "Homecoming" because of a certain lovely falsetto;)

He got better with age, anyway. And his looks aside, he's talented, intelligent, humble, and funny. He's also very conscious about the world and its problems. The fact that Miley Cyrus is attracted to the same man that I am attracted to makes me question MY taste. I really don't want to share the same crush as that brat. anyways, we all know hes gorge and its more than LOOKs that make us drawn to him. LP 5 should not contain the left overs of Viva. I want a fresh new era. This abnd can be incredibly innovative, so let's see what they have up their sleeve. Lhuna is an average song at best. Wasn't digging it and I don't like that style of singing Chris used in that song, A Spell a Rebel Yell, and in Yes. I like his falsetto. But experimentation is good. Christmas Lights will not be on LP 5, most likely a separate release. Let's hope this is not a recycled album. There really is no rush...take the time and put in quality.

Nothing beats Violet Hill! After the LiT intro, when you first see them...my heart went a pitter patter! Lovers in Japan, of course, is great! And the crowd went ape sh!t for Viva La Vida. soooo much energy. And The Scientist is always magical.

I am going to miss the art and visuals of the Viva era. They also have never been closer to their fans, but I know this is a trend that will continue!

I agree with your comment about bands having eras. It shows an evolution in music and experimentation, hallmarks of being great, innovative artists. I'm proud CP can be classified so. I love the Viva era, I guess, in a superficial way. I like Music from the AROBTTH days and X&Y. As for Viva, The music is not my favorite, but it is the most powerful. The Viva days are CP's glory days, so to speak. It was their most successful time and I wish nothing but success on this band, so I'm happy. Theres something about viva that makes people excited, come together, and be in awe of this band's talents.PLUS THE VISUALS OF VIVA(French Rev theme, music vids, and art in general)WERE STUNNING. I hate people who just focus on Chris with vehemence. It's called Coldplay. not the Chris Martin band people... He's a very beautiful guy, I catch myself staring at him many times too...Those eyes, his charisma, nice body, and talented...what more could one ask for?! He's a visionary as well-worth worshipping musically...but not a DEITY WORTHY OF RELIGION! LOL! I hate Chris teeny boppers...those fourteen year olds who post on youtube pages with usernames like "prettyprep" or "twilightgrl" and go on and on about gwyneth moving over and how 14 is not too young and wanting him to be their babydaddy.
