Don't know where else to put this, I haven't been here for a while, but this album is the best thing Coldplay has done since A Rush Of Blood. This is amazing!

Zo, hier ben ik lang niet geweest. Desalniettemin: Coldplayers, alsnog de beste wensen voor 2014 en laten we hopen dat er een nieuwe plaat aan komt!

Serieus? Dat hadden wij ook. Tenminste, het was verre van HD en het geluid stond ook veels te zacht. Ik had eigenlijk ook moeten klagen. In plaats daarvan werd er geklaagd over mijn harde gezang :laugh3: Trouwens dit weekend de hele stad afgezocht naar de bluray van Live 2012, was gewoon nergens te krijgen. Heb hem nu maar via Bol besteld, komt als het goed is vandaag binnen. Nog even over Mumford & Sons. Vandaag mail gehad van Ticketservice. Door een fout bij de bank hebben ze (zogenaamd) m'n betaling te laat binnengekregen. In plaats van staanplaatsen hebben ze me nu zitplaatsen helemaal achterin de Ziggo Dome toegestuurd onder de noemer 'de beste zitplaatsen'. Toevallig zat ik in exact hetzelfde vak tijdens Radiohead vorige maand en weet dus uit ervaring dat dit waardeloze plaatsen zijn. Heb een boze mail teruggestuurd en m'n staanplaatsen geëist.

Ik heb ze als het goed is wel. Althans, het geld is afgeschreven maar ik heb nog altijd geen e-tickets ontvangen. Maar ik stalk Ticketservice vrijwel dagelijks zodat ik ze alsnog krijg. Wie is er naar Live 2012 geweest gister? Ik was in Pathé Haarlem en stond bijna net zo hard mee te brullen als tijdens de concerten :laugh3:

It was freaking amazing. It was like I was at the concerts again. I really loved the quotes of the guys they edited in. A great memory of a great tour! I really loved Charlie Brown, especially the shot behind Chris when you saw all the Xylobands Amazing!

That shot during The Scientist where the camera circles around Chris is one of the most epic concert shots I've ever seen. Truly amazing.

Veel nieuwe albums de laatste tijd. Mumford & Sons, Muse, The Killers, Two Door Cinema Club, The xx, etc. Wat vinden de Nederlanders/Vlamingen er van?

Why does everybody hate Survival that much? I freakin' love that track, especially with Prelude as intro! My other favs on the album: - Supremacy: My god Matt, can you sing any higher?! :lol: Great track with awesome orchestral parts combined with the band (great drum track and a Brian May like solo in the middle). - Panic Station: My first reaction was: FLEA/RHCP! But when Matt comes in this track becomes one of the best of The 2nd Law. Really like the part 'You've arrived at Panic Station!'. Awesome. - Prelude + Survival: As stated, I love this track. The orchestral part in Prelude is building the right setting for Survival. Ok, the lyrics aren't that great, but listen to the music! It explodes! - Follow Me: I heart an ultrasound heartbeat in the beginning, followed by the disco like beat and thought to myself 'what is this?!' Now it kinda reminds me of a mix between Butterflies & Hurricanes and Take A Bow. Awesome track! - Animals: Has a little Radiohead vibe over it, which I really like. - Explorers: That piano! Reminded me a bit of Don't Stop Me Now sometimes. - Big Freeze: Nice guitar work and great vocals. I was disappointed with Chris' songs, he's just not that singer that Matt is. The 2nd Law: Unsustainable is an experiment and they did a good job on that. Isolated System was the wrong choice for closing the album. I was also a bit disappointed that Matt almost has no lyrics more after Big Freeze. Still thinks it's a better album than The Resistance. Grade: 8/10

Babel is truly amazing! Sure, it's more of the same compared with Sigh No More, but like said earlier, it's more agressive and has some really awesome guitar parts. Best tracks: Babel, I Will Wait, Holland Road, Lover Of The Light, Hopeless Wanderer and Below My Feet. I just can't stop listening! :D

I had the exact same feeling after hearing it first like most of you described. But I guess it has grown on me the last year. I actually enjoyed it last week on the Malieveld in The Hague. So happy birthday para-para-Paradise!

Sowieso vind ik Nederlands concertpubliek altijd vrij tam in vergelijking met het buitenland. Ik ben afgelopen zomer een week op het Sziget festival in Boedapest (Hongarije) geweest en daar was de sfeer echt een week lang uitzinnig, zelfs bij matigere acts. Hoewel de sfeer op het Malieveld (en in Ahoy afgelopen december trouwens ook) wel bijzonder goed was! :) Wat anders, wat hebben de Nederlandse Coldplayers gestemd vandaag? Ik ben in het stemhokje last minute geswitched naar D66.
