  1. If U2 are booked again for next year, I hope they won't announce them as the first headliner. Been there done that and such.
  2. :mean: Internet is being an arse. :dozey:
  3. It better not be the Stones. :blank: I'd love to see Radiohead headline out of all the bands mentioned here, but we'll see. It doesn't seem that likely but you never know. And I agree, Arcade Fire must play Glasto next year. :cheesy:
  4. I watched Friday Night Lights, does that count?
  5. Radio silence. ha ha ha. :shame:
  6. Here we call all lemon/lime/cherry/apple/orange/pineapple/whatever-ades lemonade.
  7. Does limeade actually exist? *googles* IT DOES! :stunned: I would call limeade lemonade though. :D I used to drink pure lemon juice when I was younger (it's grrrrreat :wacky:) but I don't think I've ever had a lime. ..wrong thread I guess.
  8. What about 10.0.3? :cheesy: I'm not gonna update though. Version 10 doesn't really seem all that great so it's just going to be a waste of space. And I already really disliked 9 but oh well.. :shame:
  9. Class 9 - 17, work 18 - 22:30. Now I'm tired. :disappointed:
  10. *kicks internet connection* :mean:
  11. There wasn't a Madness thread yet? Shame on you, Coldplaying. :blank: One Step Beyond is such a great tune to wake up to. :cheesy:
  12. I'm actually glad college finally started again this week. I've been bored out of my mind in the last few months. :)
  13. Dddddddddddppppppppp :whip:
  14. Now that's interesting. :nice:
  15. Yeah, although I only saw a half hour set at a festival. I have to say I was surprised how good the performance was. Kris is very entertaining (and really funny) and his musical performance is great. Definitely go see him if you can because it's so worth it. I'm seeing him again in November (proper gig, yay), very much looking forward to that. :nice: Live set from last weekend.
  16. He's really good live. :awesome:
  17. Hm, I think I have the normal version. Read the first few chapters last year but didn't really get into the story. I'll give it another try soon. :nice:
  18. Only partly in my experience. I'd rather go to a festival where I know I'll have an amazing time with an inferior line up than go to a festival that's crap but has a great line up. The music is important but things like atmosphere and how the festival is run are at least equally important. For example, Rock Werchter is almost as expensive as Glastonbury (usually pretty good names too) but from what I heard the festival itself isn't all that great. And most of the festivals that sell out in a day aren't just known for the bands they book. :nice:
  19. Actors in soaps are generally cringe-worthy. :blank:
  20. Yes, but you can only buy one ticket per registration number. So whoever you're going with needs to register as well before buying the tickets.
  21. You need to set up an account for you and the person you're going with before you can buy tickets. Ta-dam.
  22. It's not that unusual though. Generally at festivals like this there's so much to do/see/hear you don't necessarily need a great line up. But most of the time Glastonbury's line up is pretty drool-worthy. @Acquiesce: Do you know Lowlands? It'll be like Glasto this year in terms of tickets selling out with only a handful of bands confirmed. Anyhow. I've been dying to go for years and this year I'll finally have the money/means/time to go. But I'll probably go by myself because apparently my friends don't like festivals as much as I do. By the way, last year a Dutch band self confirmed in August, but I guess nobody in the UK noticed.
  23. I've been meaning to read that. :shame: So it's good?
  24. Dp. :dozey:
  25. Lime = limoen Lemon = citroen :blank:
