  1. Yeah I think it's a matter of luck too. When I started Uni, the first person I talked to was a girl who soon became a really really great friend of mine ! And now I have to do the same all over again but nothing like that happens :disappointed:. I guess I just have to wait and see... PS: that guys sounds amazing. Don't you want to date him? lol
  2. Haha the France one is actually true !
  3. Yeah Greg is right actually. I don't want to sound like a bad person but honestly I won't usually go talk to people who look like loosers to me. If they come to me I won't send them away of course !
  4. This thread makes me sad. It makes me realize how much people are struggling with this friendship issue. I've always been good at this though. I have a very close relationship with my best friend (who I'm best friend with since primary school :awesome:) and I have 4 other really really close friends who knows everything about me and many of other casual friends. The problem is, they're all pretty far away from me right now. I just have my roommate left (thank god). My best friend has lived in another city for 3 years so we're used to it but my 3 real friends from Uni left the city/country this year! So now I feel like I'm back to start again. You know I'm living this situation when you have courses everyday with the same 300 people group but you don't know any of them and they already know each other (so they are not particulary looking for friends). And honestly it's HARD sometimes. And seriously I'm not a shy person! Sometimes I will go talk to someone to ask them something but it's like impossible to start a conversation from this. They just have their own friends so they couldn't care less about making new ones :disappointed: !

"Edwyn Collin's (Orange Juice) asked us to record a song with him for his new album "Losing Sleep". The song is called "In Your Eyes" We think it's out now, so go get it." [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7skpdXLB4XQ]YouTube - Edwyn Collins & The Drums - In Your Eyes[/ame] I love it. :wacky: And if you haven't heard it yet, here's a fantastic cover of the Supremes they did a while ago : [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxwCvgXzTLU]YouTube - The Drums - Where Did Our Love Go (Supremes' cover)[/ame] Please poeple, don't let me be the only one trying to spread the Drums' love :whip: !
  6. :laugh3: That's weird ! :surprised::embarrassed: I feel so stupid now. I'm sorry Crest.
  7. Aww stop that !
  8. :laugh3: Yeah I know what you mean. Sometimes I look random people in the eye and don't break eye contact until the person get embarrassed and break it xD! I always win at this "game"!
  9. I do. And honestly I don't really get what is bothering people about it? Are you all this shy?
  10. I have PLENTY to suggest if you want haha ! The "pisses with" is amazing! Oh and the "marries" and "hugs" are the cutest thing ever!
  11. I knowwww ! My roommate and I just spend the last hour typing in everything that came to mind and it's just hilarious !
  12. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ba1BqJ4S2M&feature=player_embedded]YouTube - NSFW. A hunter shoots a bear![/ame] OMG this is amazingly funny :laugh3:. I'm also really amazed :shocked2:. I mean, how do they do this? JUST CLICK THE LINK ! :bomb:
  13. LOL :laugh3: ! No really if you're not interesting in knowing the names of the non-Chris members of Coldplay then you won't know it so it's not that surprising. Same goes with any other band, you usually just know the singer's name.
  14. HAHAHA !!! WIN.
  15. Good one! It's really horrible though :stunned:.
  16. :P Happy Birthday ! Aww that Joseph Gordon spam :sweatdrop: !
  17. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDIRT_NEMxo]YouTube - Arcade Fire - Deep Blue (HQ)[/ame] I was walking in the street listening to this song today and it gave me massive goosebumps! I even felt like I was going to cry. :shame:
  18. Ahh I need to check that out! *goes on youtube* :escaping2:
  19. I like it ! Good job :nice:
  20. THIS. I'll vote for Ainsley too. I'm always amazed by your talent. Seriously I would buy some of your art if I could. I'm a fan !
  21. Yeah good point. I was thinking the same thing! I personally almost never buy digital music because I simply can't afford to buy everything I want to listen to and also because yeah, once you get used to music being free you can't go back to buying it no matter how cheap it can be (that's why I think people would still end up taking it for free even if $4 became the standart price for an album). I'm not saying I think this behaviour is the best but it's just how it is now . However I think it's different for physical copies of albums. I can sometimes buy one if I really really want it but most of the time the prices are so expensive that it's a complete turn off even if I would love to have the album. I mean, I don't know for other countries but here everytime I want to buy an album it's around 16 to 20 € :disappointed:.
  22. Great I'll try to do it soon :D. Ahh I'm excited for you ! xD
  23. You won't regret it ! I want to show you my pictures now lol.
  24. Yep yep yep :smug: :bomb:! And the weather was the best you could wish for (so the view was even more beautiful than in this picture).
