I think I could do it if I had to, I would never do it if I had a choice not to. But yeah, I think I can deal with the death of strangers. Besides, when it's your job you know you have to stay strong, not cry and be as comforting (without entering people's private life) as you can? So yeah, it'd be hard but I'd probably be able to handle it.

Yeah ! :lol: I'm loving this title. I was rather disappointed by the new song though. Why the hell did they decide to make somebody else do the vocals? I want Alex Turner's vocals back. And it was nothing amazing musically either. It's still an enjoyable song but it's just not good enough for an Arctic Monkeys song and it didn't feel like them so much (probably because of this vocals thing).

Nice idea here Greg ! It also happens to me to come across songs that are not quite my thing but that i know other people could really appreciate. I shall contribute to this thread in the future :) The last two songs you posted are those i prefered. The last one definitely has some Animal Collective + Fleet Foxes feel to it.

The lyrics in Give up the ghost are "don't haunt me". I thought it said "don't hurt me" :shame:. Edit : Actually, some people say it's don't hurt me. Now I'm confused! Does someone know about this?

I soooo disagree ! This version actually sounds pretty awful. And I absolutely don't get what it is not to like about Morning Mr Magpie. I love it. The best part is this sort of floating break in the middle of the song followed by Thom singing again. Pretty intense.
