But why not point to gun control as the problem ? Even if it is not the only problem, it is a huge part of it ! Of course the person was sick, of course it's his fault because he was the one holding the gun ; but as said someone here, why make it so easy ? Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm not American), but I feel like in the USA you can buy yourself a gun just like you'd buy toothpaste... A long time ago, it had to be authorised because it was so hard to call for help... But now, in 2012 ? Can't people find other ways to protect themselves ? Someone mentionned the guy who attacked 22 kids in China, saying it was the same. It was not. Because no one was killed, because it takes way longueur to actually really hurt someone with a knife. Of course a kids were hurt, of course they're traumatised ; but did parents lose their babies 10 days before Christmas ? No. The violence is the same, but the impact isn't. In France, for instance, you have to get a sort of licence (?) before being able to use and to buy a gun. That means that most of the time, if the potential seller feels like the person in front of them is too fragile, mentions strange ideas (...) they won't sell it. Gunhold is not forbidden, it is just strictly monitored ; and I think that's what should happen in the USA. Of course it doesn't stop everything, because there's always other ways to find them and everything ; but in the end, you never hear of these kinds of problems here. Anyways, even though I don't think gunhold is the only problem, I still think it is "too easy". But I do agree with you on the role of the media.

How awful... Thinking about all these families who lost their innocent children just 10 days before Christmas. I can't imagine what it feels like (and for all the poor kids who witnessed this !) We were talking about it in English class just last week... We discussed the fact that gunhold is still authorised in the USA. I hope this time decisions will be taken...

Even though I said I didn't find the performance to be amazing, I still give him so credit for him. It was a great performance, just not we're used to (in terms of quality). But 'knowing' him, it definitely was very daring to go there without the others. I'm still wondering why they didn't take part in this, btw.

I'm not a really huge fan of his performance to be honest. I really feel like Chris is rarely good when without the rest of the band... he's just so nervous when they're not here and it definitely has an impact on the way he performs. I thought Viva on guitar was a refreashing and a nice try but I would've expected to out turn a bit better. I really liked the duet with Mickael Stipe, very nice. UATW was alright but really missed Will's voice imo. I just think he was a bit too nervous for it to turn better. And about the suit... I didn't feel like he was trying to show how wealthy he is. I felt like it was more like "see guys, I dressed up for you. That's something I rarely do, so if I made the effort because I care about you".

Generally speaking I love the DVD, there's one thing though which I hate. Why did they feel the need to add stuff ? Like all the animations during the songs, the man during Charlie Brown (or an other song), the lyrics written on it... There's already so much going going on stage, so many colors ; this added stuff is just too much imo.

I wish Guy had come... They all look great and I think it's really cool that they actually came to explain what they did and why :)
