Yep. I think the list also answers your question of who will receive the book next right?

The Coldplaying Scrapbook III
OK, or can a mod make it so that someone else can? If I am not here to update the list, hm, oh wait, or I just link to another post in the first post of the thread.

Thanks Diana and Master! Shall I edit then the first post? Or do we start a new thread?

Is Tash no longer a moderator?
Oh, I didn't know! Tash, I wish you all the best! Lots of energy and good vibes! I like to think that I know kind of how it is, because I have narcolepsy and the main symptoms are the same as for CFS (although symptoms are different for everyone). It sucks :\ You've always done a great work with the moderating here. We notice that you are missed :) We miss u

Ok, then Alice can have the book! omg, I didn't kmow Tash was gone. Why? Vacation or something I hope? Diana, yeah maybe, because I don't know how often I will be on here, so for the progress I think it's better if someone takes over that's on here often enough.

As I will probably not continue with the scrapbook handling I think it's wise not to send it to me. Normally we ask for it a bit before it goes to you anyway. Tash, if you want to take over, I'd be glad! As you can see I am hardly online here anymore. The first person from Europe who was supposed to get the scrapbook is Alice42. I'll PM Cobalt her address and PM Alice42 to see if she's still active on the board.

The Coldplaying Scrapbook III
Your name is on the list! Tash, I don't know who would be willing to take over. Any takers? omdfkbr, if you can't make a page until June, then I think it's better to send it back to Europe. I will have a look at who's first on the list from there.

The Coldplaying Scrapbook III
Hi-ho, I am here. I wanted to answer Cobalt but didn't know what to answer :/ I haven't been on here much and I don't think I will either in the near future, so maybe it's better if anyone else wants to take over the lead on where to go with it and keeping the addresses etc? Because I am busy with my new job and job searching and I don't find much time for spamming forums lately. Emma, would you be ok then with sending it to Indonesia? Ok, shall I put your name on the list in the first post? The book is still going around, shall I put your name also on the list? You'll be contacted when the book is near you.

We still haven't planned what to do with the scrapbook in the end as well. Indonesia only has one active member that it can be sent to and it was the last one to join the list so next journey would be to Europe then, I think. Anyone plans for the book? Like should it stop somewhere (because it gets fuller and heavier) or shall we start adding pages? Or start a new one when it's full? Also, because sending it to another continent again might be very costly by now and if it's full anyway :/ I don't know, just give me some input.

Mixtape Exchange #16 [Mixtapes due 25/11]
Hi Chris, I was your mixtape maker as you already figured out ... I am so sorry for messing that up. I completely forgot that my username on here is Wyrd :embarrassed: It wasn't meant as my username, but as one of the Norns from nordic mythology, namely Destiny/Faith. It has to do with the theme of the mixtape, because Sedna is the North Goddess of the Sea. I wrote a long reply to elaborate about the myth and how the songs fitted it, but the file got lost on my computer, uuuurgh. The idea was to make it like a movie soundtrack, but without using tracks from movie soundtracks. My reply to each song is in the spoiler: Tracklist 00 Century Fox intro, followed by 'Lost in the trees - Moment one' (2012) 01 'Rockettothesky - Cigars (2006)', followed by 'Paavoharju - Alania' (2008) and 'CocoRosie - Child Bride (2013)' 02 'iLiKETRAiNS - We Go Hunting' (2007), followed by 'Lost in the trees - Moment two' (2012) 03 'Esben and the witch - Slow Wave'(2013), followed by 'Paavorharju - Salainen Huone' (2008) and 'Efterklang - Sedna' (2012) 04 'Lost in the Trees - Neither here nor there' (2012) 05 'Julianna Barwick - Crystal Lake' (2013) 06 'Anathema - Temporary Peace' (1999)

I didn't get a respond from one of the Indonesian girls I PM'ed. If I do not get a respond I will let the book go back to Europe I think :/- Mixtape Exchange #16 [Mixtapes due 25/11]
Was very busy, but here's my review! 01 The first song starts off with synths! :) It sounds like this could be a soundtrack of some 80's series, hahaha. I have a weakness for 80's sound. :wacky: I especially like the bridge where guitars take over from the synths for a bit. I recognise the artist but not who they are. Seeing the tracklisting will probably make me say "of course. That's the one!" 02 This one starts with chiptune, then merging into a more dark tune, gothic rock-like. Ah, the lyrics come back at the chiptune! Hahahaha, I like this. I like the song as well, it reminds me of The Storm, well, of their good songs. I would like to hear more of this artist(s) 03 Guitars. Then the singing gets me confused. What language is this? An odd song. The music sounds straight forward but I think I find it odd because of the foreign language, or it must be the guy's voice :/ 04 The very beginning of the song is so different from what the song will be like, I don't really know how to word it, like it's the start of another song. It makes the song interesting together with other things like some funky elements and the ending that's been messed with. Sounds like this could be Beck or something. 05 Another very synths based song, this time purely instrumental. Sounds again as if it could be a soundtrack of an 80's series. The melody with the synths sounds somewhat cheasy. And that sound, what is it, are those horses galloping? I imagine it belong to something, like a television show, and without it it sounds a bit lost. It fits in the mixtape, but I am not a fan of the song :/ 06 The 80's again, yusss. This time some jazzy rock. I know this song. It's The Police with Demolition Man. Nice to listen to. Fits again well in the mixtape. 07 Nice following up song. Ah that voice! :D Talking heads, I love David Byrne. His voice is so ... typical David Byrne, hahaha. He sings so typical. Needless to say that I like this song :} 08 Green Day, I can be short about this. I don't like Green Day. Some songs of them I like, but most I can't stand :/ This song I don't like. 09 Starts off with drumming and guitars come in. Sounds like Yeah Yeah Yeah's; A Chick in a rock/punk band. This song makes me feel like their last album, it's okay but nothing special that I would like to listen more to. 10 The drumming and guitar make me think this is at least Jack White, because it sounds very much like White Stripes. Maybe it is White Stripes? I have never listened to much of this. I don't know why. I like the song though. 11 More rock. This sounds so familiar and yet I don't know which song it is, aaaaaaargh. Sounds like 90's, Nirvana, but it seems not alternative enough for it. I could be wrong though. The voice also sounds like Bruce Springsteen somehow, the music would fit him more too I think. 12 Ah yes! English, the voice and music sounds much like David Bowie. I don't know this song. It's nice, I want to hear more of this :} Overall a nice journey through time with some 80's and 90's if I am not mistaken. The songs fit well together. Thank you very much for this mixtape!- The Coldplaying Scrapbook III
Woohoo! I am sorry, I just e-mailed you, but hadn't seen this thread yet ... hahaha, I am so behind. Sorry people, I lost the file with addresses and who got what info, etc. a while ago. I found an older file in a back-up, but it's not updated. So I might ask again in PM for e-mail etc.- 2013 albums of the year and songs of the year - Deadline 15th December
^ Yup, 2012 could count but Imagine Dragons is from the summer, not December, so it doesn't count (It says extended version and that one came out 2013, but most material on there was already released in the normal 2012 version, hence it doesn't count)- Mixtape Exchange #16 [Mixtapes due 25/11]
Maybe people that are late shouldn't post it here but PM Cyan Kat, otherwise it's easier to guess which tape we get. Cyan Kat, are the tapes send out already?- The Coldplaying Scrapbook III
I don't think so, I didn't hear from her after the 15-11 post- The Coldplaying Pub.

^ That, jaaaaaay! omdfkbr, I think it's not fair to put you before Adaninurimanina (what kind of usernames are these?) because she's waiting longer but if she agrees I can still do it. Right now I still have to see what will be most convenient, Europe or Asia ...- Breaks in relationships… do they work?
It can. But it depends on each situation of course ... just a break doesn't sound good, you need that break for a reason and that's not that the relationship is not going well, but because during the break one or both can work on fixing what caused the break in the first place, like if one of them has issues (addiction/immature/still doubting if the ex is better/whatever), try fixing it. I have seen it work a few times, but also I have seen that it lead to a def. break up. But hey, if you or someone else feels it's needed, then that sounds like something is brewing and continuing in the same way doesn't sound like a good idea then either, right? Might be a slippery slope eitherway.- The Coldplaying Scrapbook III
Hi there omdfkbr! if you want to join, you can let us know here and I will place your name on the list that's in the first post. Right now the book is in Australia and it might pass Asia before going back to Europe. There's another Indonesian on the list :) Maybe Adaninurimanina can also help you out with what kind of mail to use. I have send packages to Indonesia and they arrived in time and in good condition and I've received packages from Indonesia as well so only good experiences for me. I used PostNL to send the package, but it's a Dutch company so I don't know what was used in Indonesia anymore :S Do you want to join? Shall I add you to the list? Emma, three weeks ago we heard last from Chloe. She basically said she was very busy. I think Billy also got a message from her. I will send her another message to ask how things are now.- Mixtape Exchange #16 [Mixtapes due 25/11]
