so Sherlock Holmes wasn't random enough for you? Or Hen of luxury? :P No, I think you responded because you are obsessed with Keane.
  2. No, just an ordinary one.

    Because you'd respond.
  5. I dunno, it might help already if you do not think of you or anyone else as being superior. We are all equal when taking everything together. A thing like being good at math is really just one facet of what makes you you. One out of many many facets that we are composed of. I feel comforted by the thought that we are all in a way equal, I don’t have to try. Not even in my thoughts :P And I think Dee was just trying to say that you don’t have to mention such a thing in your post. It’s not like anyone asked you “Hey, at what age did you master quadratic equations?” I also agree with her that you can help it, though you said “I can’t help it”. It just takes some consideration when you post. Not when you try to tell your parents something, because it’s about the moment that you post something on here. Irrelevant stuff is irrelevant. It’s just that to me you seem to post a bit too often about how smart you are, which makes it look like bragging. I don’t know if you do, but it’s the idea I get. Sadly it doesn’t make me think of you as ‘that smart girl’, it makes me think of you as ‘that girl who thinks she is so smart’ Sorry if I am too direct and all, but I hope that you as a Belg can take it, since we tend to be more blunt in general than other people.

  9. I dunno, I guess that if enough people join the list, this wouldn't skew the results that much anyway. But on the other hand it seems ... well, strange
  10. Oh No, I want this but on Friday I have to go to a party. Wait, it will be American time anyway, right?

  13. I don't know if others also could read more on the wall just posted than Car Kids: First one says Mylo Xyloto. Second ? Third ? Fourth: Car Kids (where Charlie Brown would be on the album) Fifth ? Sixth: MMIX Seventh: Teardrop sign + the word 'every teardrop is .....' (so that one fits as well) Then on the right side of the wall: Eight: Eye sign and 'MAJOR MINUS' Nine: UFO? Ten: ??? (too short to be Princess of China and also does it not end with an A) Eleven: ? Twelve: Transmission sign (A hopeful transmission I would guess) Thirteen: ? Fourteen: ? Car Kids and Charlie Brown: It seems they wrote two songs that are nearly the same. I mean as in that they are about the same part of the comic story (which is why on the wall it is on the place of Charly Brown); Mylo probably gets in touch with the rebels (Lost Boys) and has a good time with Fly. "the two of us, we drove" "To battle lightning's glow" Then they probably had to choose between the two songs which one would be on the album. I think the same happened with Major Minus and Silencia/A Man Who Swears "Crocodile clock" and the rest of the lyrics is obviously about Major Minus of the comic. If they really chose between Car Kids and Charlie brown, then I am happy they chose the latter. I like Charlie Brown very much :} But who knows .... maybe they will come up with the song somewhere when the comic comes out. The comic runs longer than the album does and the rebels were named Car Kids in the beginning of the story (see Hurts Like Heaven video) so that could point at something else...
  14. I think it would be interesting because of people's response to the cockery. Rezzy, you don't mind some feedback on the written pieces, right?

    Where is she!
  19. It sounds so different than their debut but also so different than their EP. It's darker and more atmospheric. They got rid of the acoustic guitar so don't expect anything like The Balcony, but if you like Cocteau Twins or the soundtrack of Twin Peaks, you'll looooove this!
  20. I don't understand how you can say in advance that everything a band is going to make will be perfect. To use someone else's example: When they fart and record it, would it still be perfect?
