The girl bachelor parties are called hen parties and the girls attending those parties are calles hens. Usually a lot of money is spend in such party. I attented on last weekend, we called it a hen party as well. So there's the future bride (can be anyone) and her friends having a party. That's the term 'hen' for. Not the same as bitch or superficial woman. It's just people that have a bachelor party. Geddit?
