  1. omg, AGAIN and just when I got a new high score I am sad now
  2. I had a gun pointed at me as well in Tilburg. Also got beaten up there for no reason, so was a classmate of mine and two friend (all other occasions). Robberies were common and stealing of your scooter while you drove by a bunch of people. I have been hit by a car three times without them stopping and read in the newspaper a couple of times that people had been hit by a car and died while the car did not stop to check if the person was badly wounded. Oh and I've encountered a couple of Pencil Men (potloodventers), how do you call these men that like to wank it in public?
  3. Yes! I was thinking of mentioning that book. Glad you did it. He also wrote some nice critical stuff about most studies on anti-oxidants. Seems they don't really show they are preventing cancer ... that's why it's so important to read the actual paper instead of believing what the media writes about it, but yeah, as if people have time for that and are all capable of understanding those papers. Goldarce's book is very well written. It reads pretty easy and has a lot of references in it, if you want to dig in a bit further.
  4. It looks really cool! Nice way of having a secret writing style. I reminds me of crop circles. and :hugs: for you too!
  5. the cure for cancer Well, there are so so many different forms of cancer. That's one of the problems. A cure for one type, does nothing for another type. I am sceptical about OP's research because it all seems to sprout from greenmedinfo.com and I rather see different links (say different sources) and direct links. I had a quick look at the website and boy do they have a lot of rubbish on there. RunnForTheHills, have you actually read the papers that are referred to in those links like 'Curcumin and turmeric inhibit experimental tumorigenesis and DNA adduct formation' or do you take for granted what the title implies/that website says about it?
  6. What Coldplay said (how can you always sound so mature and wise, you're a kid!) and I also disagree about the freedom point. I experience more freedom now then when I was in high school. Don't fear the big world after graduating. It can be so much better than your high school period.

I have heard more people saying that, like you would be with your loved ones or your biggest love. But this seems impossible to me, because your biggest love might very well not consider you to be his biggest love ... does that mean he will be there with you anyway? Or will he be with his biggest love? And someone who you consider a friend and want to be with, might not feel the same about it and prefer another group of friends to be with ... everyone is entangled with everyone, how do you know who to fit into the house? If the group is taylor made for you, are those people really the people from life or are they dummies/clones, because they have to be in other houses as well? Will you be happy knowing that one of your friends is in the house but not her mother that you hate so much, but she loves her mother. Or is the mother there as well and you hate her being there or is she suddenly a lovable person? Is she still the same person then? How does it go with your appearance? I mean surely bodies wouldn't be there right? Because will you have scars or none and what age would you look like? If there's just spirits/souls, are they like how they were when they just died? Two year old you is not 40 year old you (though people might already disagree on this). Does that mean that if you are happily married and you pass away in your thirties, you end up in heaven, your spous remarries and changes so much that when he dies in his 80s and gets into heaven, he is not the spirit anymore you'd wish to be with. Or you want to, but he doesn't. How does this work? Can we have an idea of what it would be like, or can we not comprehend?

I'd like to add to that, that science can only tell us that much with some certainty. Often enough we thought we knew something for sure and it was proven false, and surely enough there are things we cannot measure, we cannot grasp and/or we cannot sense. Like Mrk says, there's only so much people are capable of understanding and this is also the case for scientists. Scientists may only have made part of the world understandable and very likely to be like that, but that doesn't mean it's the only world there is. I myself imagine death to be the end, like I wasn't there when I got born or the way I was in a dreamless sleep (I mean waking up after many hours and realizing that all those hours passed without you noticing - it's like you're not there). When I think of a concept like the 'soul' this brings basic questions up like Dee's dilemma 'I don't really know what a soul is'. I don't know if Dee meant it like that, but I am wondering in what way people experience a soul and what makes them convinced it is a soul and do different people view a soul the same way? Is the concept of a soul for Socrates the same as for a nowaday christian? I don't fear death because when you die and it is as I imagine, there's nothing. So you won't think 'Oh no, this is all blackness for eternity/oh no I am dead' or something like that. But
