    Hello and welcome! :nice:
  2. I feel the need to mention once again how giddy I am about this
  3. Yes. Been with that person ever since. Married 'n' stuff.
  4. True, but abbreviating "YOU ARE" without an apostrophe would be YOURE. If you're using YOUR for YOU'RE instead of YOURE when having "a lack of an apostrophe", that's just plain using the wrong thing/confusing it.
  5. Is there any better way to make a crusty BTTF shirt? ><
  6. Oh this is crazy timing. I just got a subscription offer yesterday, one year for $12 (that's like £8), and I was going to mail it tomorrow. :| Really. So yes, I will participate! :awesome:
  7. :awesome: Just tell them you're an englishmatician!

  9. Roadie #44 said it will come out next year and it will have music on it :sneaky:
  10. No you don't! And even if you did, English isn't your first language, so it's understandable.
  11. Well, Miller tends to work late so you might see him. Good luck. Even if you don't see anyone, it's wonderful just to be in the presence of greatness.
  12. Yes I think it is important. However I have not done it (learned something enough to speak fluently, anyway). I took French and Spanish in high school, but not very much, so I only know a little bit of each language. I wish there was more focus on it in school. Oddly enough, if you put Spanish in front of me, I can read it out loud almost perfectly. I don't know most of what I am saying, but I sound like I do. :sneaky: If I was able to ride a subway to/from work everyday instead of driving for 45 minutes each way, that would give me the time/opportunity to teach myself a language while waiting for someone else to take me where I need to go. Gawd I wish we had a subway here. Expensive Stone (although I suppose it would be worth it)

I think that's also true here, although I'm not positive. Are you serious? Wow. The Red Cross needs all the blood they can get, I can't believe they would be so stupid like that.
  14. Woops! If forgot to fill that out on the back of my driver's license when it was updated! Anna - In your case, why is it that they will let you donate organs when they won't let you donate your blood?
  15. I didn't realize the Vulcan sign was so difficult for some people. :| I can switch back and forth between the Vulcan sign and the "west-side" W really fast. Try that!

When I was younger I had my blood drawn every 3 months (because the medication I was on at the time could potentially have adverse effects on the liver, so they needed to keep an eye on that). I didn't mind it at all. And now most places have these little "butterfly" catch/release valve things, so they don't have to hold the needle/tube in their hand when drawing the blood, so it's more comfortable. I've only had one bad experience getting blood drawn in my life, but even that wasn't horrible. I haven't given blood before, but I imagine it's not much different than having an I.V. put in (except stuff is being taken out of you instead of put in).
  17. Hmm, I don't know if these would qualify as "freaky", but I can: - crack my knees by bending my legs inward - crack my tailbone by forcing my legs outward - curl my tongue in two ways (curling both sides upward, also flipping it over) - make one eye look one way and the other one look another - flip my eyelids inside out (although I haven't done that in awhile)
  18. I was glancing through the thread titles in the lounge, and at first I thought this one said "How to impregnate?" :| Woops. Mah bad.
  19. Wow. You could be my hubby's best friend! :awesome: Wow. My hubby would be offended that anyone would say he has bad parents. :|
