  1. Yes you can, I had some last week
  2. Most: guillotine (quick and relatively painless, and I can still say toodles to the ones I love first) Least: burning to death
  3. Neither did I. I think I'll read a few of the poems this weekend.
  4. http://www.coldplay.com/oracledetail.php?id=1562&page=0
  5. Okay, this arrived today. After seeing the Oracle's recent post, I just couldn't resist... :bomb:
  6. ^ The guy on the right has better teeth. :freak:
  7. He did, but he put this at the top of it: "This entry has been moved to the Coldplay section as a new thread."
  8. maybe an admin person can merge the threads
  9. THIS. They started a band because they wanted to make music. That's their passion. It's what they do for a living, not what we want them to do for a living.
  10. I love how people "blame Eno", when it was really the NY Times article that got the ball of change rolling in the first place. If you want to blame anyone, blame the author of that article.
  11. I highly doubt it will be released in December; that was an overly-optimistic comment by Chris and everyone ran with it. Realistically I think it has a better likelihood of being released be sometime in summer 2011. The previous 4 LPs were released between June and August, I'm going to wager that they continue with that pattern.
  12. :wacky: So cute Frida! You should make that into a t-shirt...
  13. You rock. Couldn't have said it better myself.
  14. I do have a few "foreigners" on facebook, and they are people that I "met" here. I "real-life" met them a little over a month ago. In the months before that, when I was planning the trip, my mom was so freaked out and thought I was insane, she was scared for my safety. She was like, "You met these people online? You don't know these people! And you're traveling thousands of miles to meet them? People online pretend to be something they're not, these people could be serial killers, etc...." Right mom. Sure. These serial killers spent all that time posting on here and making fake facebook accounts with hundreds of pictures of themselves that were actually somebody else just to try and trick me. Uh huh. Seriously, if I had any inclination these people weren't who they said they were, I wouldnt' have gone. I mean come on mom, I am an adult you know. Anna is awesome, trust me you'll love finally meeting her! :nice:
  15. Yeah I think if you're going to follow a particular religion/god/whatever, it should be because you truly believe in it, not because you are scared into following it because of what you are told would happen to you if you don't believe in it. That's kinda shitty.
  16. . . . Do these shorts make my butt look big?
  17. This one should go in the LOLdplay section... "Do these shorts make my butt look big?" EDIT: done
  18. Thank you Anna I  you! Although, I would like to know what tool wrote that article... "Drummer Will Champion of Cold Play". Last time I checked it was one word, not two.
  19. Because that behavior is not representative of 99.9442% of the fans who have more respect than that; disrespecting something that people respect (even when the people doing the disrespecting don't realize they are being disresepctful) can be insulting to the respectful people. Or something along those lines. :freak:
  20. How adorable! He's kind of got a "Will-hawk" going on there... :D
  21. ^ EXACTLY Basically... just be a respectful fan. Don't stalk. When I was there I just walked down the road past the buildings, that's it. The only time I took pictures was on a Sunday evening at 20:00, when likely nobody would be there (i.e., not disturbing anyone). And even then I didn't really stand there, I just took a few pictures and kept walking while I was doing it. My advice would be don't stand or sit out there for prolonged periods waiting to see someone. It's rude in my opinion. Ringing the doorbell or climbing a nearby fence is beyond rude, and it's insulting to the other fans. If you happen to bump into someone that's cool, but don't make it the goal. I think it's just cool to be in the presence of it, so just casually walking by was plenty for me. And keep in mind... people live in the buildings next to it, there are business there, etc. My 2 cents.
  22. MMMMAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! :awesome: You need to come here more often, considering, you know... you STARTED this thread!
  23. Yes, coldplay.com does say... here you go... "And, as a thank you for your efforts, for the next six months, we'll be sending one signed picture of the band per week to randomly-selected senders of old photos. If you'd like to be in with a chance of winning one, please include your name and address." http://www.coldplay.com/oldphotos/index.html
