The Couch
Haha, that's fine by me. The Couch can fit as many people as needed. If there is one person on it it fits one person. If there are twenty people on it it fits twenty. If there are 5 or more people on it the rule is that there is a cushion fight :sneaky:

The Couch
Anybody may sit on the couch. It is for all of us. Nobody needs permission. If there is a general consensus that somebody should be on it though, those sat on the couch can push people off!

Do You prefer Autographs or Pictures with a band?
I don't bother with autographs or pictures (that's just my personal opinion, I quite like seeing pictures of other people with their heroes). I have my memories for that stuff. And if I lose my mind then it won't matter whether I have someones name written down. Picture would be preferable out of those two. The best thing I got was when Daniel Johnston drew me a picture. That was much more intimate. He drew it on a sheet of paper on my back :smug: His signature is on there since he signs his work. DUCK MONSTER! Might as well stick a random Danny J tune here for those who don't know him. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TV6LPx1ezYs]YouTube - Daniel Johnston - Some Things Last A Long Time[/ame]

What have you learned today?
Today I learned that if you change you sig then it doesn't change how all of your posts look, just your future posts. On this page higher up on my previous posts I have no sig, whereas this post will have one. How weird.

As I need someone to talk to
I agree with others. You are a cool guy and I reckon I'd hang out with you in real life. I remember I was so down a few years ago before I went to college. I felt so isolated. I had nothing in common with my friends from school and I wasn't even myself when I was around them since they wouldn't appreciate me for who I was. I remember wondering if anybody would truly get to know me and it got me really down. When I went to college things changed and I met a group of like-minded people who shared my interests and outlook on life. Since then I've never looked back. If I have any advice it would be on when, in the opening post, you say that you live a boring life. Are there any clubs you can join or any places you can go to, to do the things you like amongst others? That could be a good way to meet new people and it may raise your spirits. You could also try new things and try to find a new hobby as well, this way your days won't feel as wasted. In the words of Thom Yorke 'Be constructive with your blues'. In the meantime, hold on to the hope that you will meet like minded people in the future. If you search for it then it will come to you. There are so many people in the world. If cannibals can meet up and form social circles then I am pretty sure a dude like you, who isn't a freak, can too! The key thing is to keep busy and putting yourself in positions where you can meet people who share your interests.

The Goodnight Thread
Goodnight everybody! Love for you all

What have you learned today?
I also learned that I have been here exactly 11 months and just before pressing 'submit reply' on this I had exactly 6,000 posts. Considering I didn't post between November and April I've posted for 6 months. 1,000 posts is a nice amount I think. *goes to put album in sig, then to the goodnight thread*

What have you learned today?
Today I learned that I should perhaps put my bands album back in my sig.

Poets
My lame effort, influenced by the trippy hippy works of The Beatles. Everything rhymes but I'm gonna take a few of the lines only and fit them into a song. It won't be this long. I made it this long to give me lots of choice. To gain the world you don’t have to lose your soul Just remember that love runs through us all We are turning upon this world which can’t be bought or sold To be happy just seek the beauty life beholds Life is only transient But love of life is permanent Endless talking surrounds a man with fool’s gold Simply feeling will help you reflect and withhold Through the years as you begin to grow old You won’t have to look back on all that’s passed so cold

Which was the first cd you bought? and the last one?
I got loads of crap singles when I was younger. Mambo #5 by Lou Bega Mr Boombastic by Shaggy (though that was cassette) My Name Is by Eminem (cassette again, and not crap :p) The first album I bought on CD was 'The Marshall Mathers LP' by Eminem. I don't remember the most recent album I bought. I rarely buy them now. This will change when I get a job though. It might have been a múm album.

Describe The Evolution Of Your Music Taste
Cheers guys, another set of interesting reads! And don't be silly Jonnyslice, I find this whole topic interesting, don't put yourself down :) It's so interesting to view it, almost like looking down a family tree with all the different tangents.
