Death of the album, yeah, I agree, but not death of the artist. The CDs IMO were meant to disappear for something better. After all, it was just a small vinyl. I agree that there are some negative points accompanying that extinction, but I think the way we listen to music today with iTunes, iPods or stuff like this is definitely better. To be honest, I'm the kind of guy who also has only 1 or 2 tracks per album ! -Except of course for Coldplay and some other ones - But, still, I don't want iTunes to show me only the recurrent artworks that I have. I want them all. And I don't feel "ridiculous" at all, you know, I love my music library. When I don't like tracks on an album, I just don't see the point of wasting time and especially space by keeping them.

Being a huge Apple fan, I was watching the keynote live on my phone at work, outside... When Steve talked about a band with 4 albums, and when I saw Parachute's cover... 'think I got a kind of an orgasm or something :D Yellow was awesome, Viva la Vida great and Wedding Bells cool too but with an un-finished aftertaste. IMO it could be something like hearing the acoustic version Lost? before the real version Lost! Coldplay, Apple, still an epic win :dance:

Yeah the hypnofeed is very weird... I'm still not liking the colors, but it's definitely better. It feels more alive.
