I gave it an 8. I thought the violin beginning was really pretty, then there's a short part between that and the lyrics which people aren't liking, but I thought it was actually really awesome the second it came on. I just started smiling once it happened. But the rest of the song, although different, sounded just like what I'd expect a Coldplay song to sound like.

Gosh dang it, I can only imagine she'll have a huge part of the song too, with it going back in forth going "Once upon a time this..." and then the she says "Once upon a time that..."

Haha, well since hip hop has a lot of people always featuring in each others stuff so I'm sure they don't mind as much as us.

Maybe they just mean that it's sung from a female perspective as Chris has said before...thats as hopeful as I can be about this. And for the record, PoC is no where near their best ever. It's good, but not the best...

I always think "no, I won't buy it as a single because I don't want to buy it twice", but then I think about how much music I've downloaded illegally from Coldplay in the past (sorry) and I realize it's sort of only fair to buy the singles if I like them.

Well...here's what I'd think about it. Jonny said that they fit everything they wanted into 42 and a half minutes, but he also said they were probably going to have only 10 songs on the album. So I'd say those original 10 songs are 42.5 minutes altogether. Somebody else said that it was all fitting into about 50 minutes with Chris saying he wanted 13 songs. So, with 14 songs, I'd expect there to be slightly more than 50 minutes in main tracks. However, if there are hidden tracks then it might be closer to an hour.

I think it'll be one of the more acoustic songs on the album, because a hopeful transmission would be like a cry for help to anyone who might hear them.

man, Ive been spending so much time trying to see if this was some sort of binary code. I thought since the periods were seperating the letters they might not be 2009 in roman numerals, but 1000.1000.1.10 but after trying a bunch of things it doesn't seem like i was right

Well if Mylo Xyloto isn't in a foreign language, and its not in English, it sort of has to be a name beacuse there's not much else to choose from.

I like how in Us Against the World the lyrics talk about wanting to float away, and then in the end they might go Up With The Birds :D

I love that there's MMIX because usually when you get a tracklisting, most of the titles are new to you, but this time the only one we had never heard of before was MMIX, and its not something to just go "well now we know" because the meaning is still hidden.

Hmm, at Lolla I saw one of the crew had a Coldplay t-shirt on and on the back it had a bunch of blotches of color (like the ETIAW artwork), a big swirl, and a bunch of symbols in the swirl like the eye and the CK. Maybe itll be available for purchase in the future and have all the symbols for every song on it... I'm like 95 percent sure this happened. But that was a long day so who knows...
