M.M.I.X

Most of the little logos that are below the tracklisting of the album and in several other places are easy to get (The transmission tower, the spiral, etc.). But I just don't understand the MMIX one!!! It looks like a Harry Potter wand or something, ideas??

There's talk of shorts and instrumentals. This precedes Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall. Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall has a very ambient beginning. Like a short Violet Hill. Anyone else think that the rest of that Violet Hill-esque intro is in fact MMIX? I'd like to think it's around 30-40 seconds long with Eno synths, Johnny with echoey guitar and an alien-like vocoder (to fit the theme) repeating the letters "MMIX".

MMIX is apparently 2009. So... Yeah. What do you all think the relevance of the title will be, if any?

These two songs seem extremely similar.

Just had a thought! What if the wand is actually a lamp post (?) with light glowing of the top? This might very well be the song containing the "Luminous" lyrics. Arter all, the lyrics are on the artwork.
