  1. America has enough tennis players so I don't need to go for Roddick, but if he were the only one I certainly would go for him. Like the American footballers ... any of them that play overseas I root for just because there are so few. I tend to like baseliners above serve-and-volley'ers. I like Agassi. I like Moya. I like Kuerten. Actually ... ... I have a lot of respect for most ballers.
  2. Sleeping had something to do with it. Since I was asleep, my brain wasn't able to say "This pain is associated with a leg cramp so I don't have to hit the panic buttons." Instead, it freaked out: "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!" And my calves are really big. What I was a kid, my Dad pplayed a trick on me and told me there were rattle snakes up and down the hill upon which we lived. So, from second grade until eighth grade I sprinted up that hill everyday ... 1/8 of a mile at a 40% grade. So my thighs and calves and buttocks muscles are larger than normal ... and when they cramp, they cramp like a mutha trucka.
  3. Very. It's normal ... ... and natural. I really shouldn't have said anything :)
  4. I don't know about cocky, but I just don't like his game. Obviously, he's probably the most talented player on tour, but I think he makes for boring spectator tennis and I don't think he would be as good if it wrren't for the technology. Put him up again Rod Laver with wood rackets and Laver would work his ass. So Roddick is cocky ... but Hewitt isn't?
  5. And the worst part: Morla, the Ancient One, didn't help at all! And then the Luck Dragon had to come in and save Atrieu. Stupid turtle.
  6. I guess it was just that one day ... New Years Eve when you were in lab and your sister and I were chastizing you for posting while at work.
  7. I used to get calf cramps in the middle of the night. That's when Iw as running a lot and used to always be dehydrated. One might my Mom heard me scream out in my sleep (because of the cramp) and she got really scared. I felt so bad: You never want to see that look on your Mom's face.
  8. Isn't your hair already pretty dark to being with?
  9. ^ Oh gawd. :D
  10. No!!!!!!!! Artax is dying. Damn it! Almost 20 years and I still almost cry at this point. It's OK ... I've only seen this movie about 80 times. Facking horse! Why'd he give in!!!
  11. Maybe because you're always on the 'puter? :D
  12. I'm a pretty big tennis fan. I follow the men's tour closely. I follow the women's tour a little, but that tour is so top heavy that most matches are not really competitive. You're a tennis fan, I take it? Who are your faves?
  13. Yes, man. I'm talking about Gustavo Kuerten's participation in the Autralian Open. Hey ... if I came down for the Australian Open next year, could I sleep on your floor? Puh-leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?!?!?!
  14. DDR? That's fun. I suck at it, but I like it. DDR confirms something I should know: I AM white. Very white.
  15. Sometimes it is too weird. When I'm working hard on projects I won't leave my apartment for days at a time. You feel like you're losing touch with the world. And since I've gotten to where I communicate with friends and family primarily though email and IM, I go days without talking to anybody. :stunned: I could never take this. There comes a time when I have to get out. I'm am not an indoors type of person. Maybe I could go days w/o talking with anyone, but I must see the outside world. My apartment has tons of windows, all of which look out onto the busy streets of downtown San Diego. I see tons of people ... ... I just don't interact with them. And that's the problem: I get the minimal amount of interaction necessary. I just don't get any participation.
  16. Why did the black guy with the taco shell on his head tell Atrieu he had to go alone with no weapons? The Nothing didn't care if one or a million people came for it. What a moron! What did he know about the Nothing! And the Atrieu went and took Artax. Ugh!
  17. I wanted to dye my hair black with blonde spots, but I ahve been too lazy to bleach out the black, so now I just have black and brown hair ... ... so i'm merely kinds cool as opposed to super, duper cool.
  18. We should make some up and send them in to the ETS.
  19. ^ disturbing :stunned:
  20. I always forget the tribe Atreiu is from: He is one of the Plains People of the Purple Buffalo. That's kinda cool.
  21. That's right. Bowie is to Labyrinth as Sting is to Dune. That's why I only got a 1580 on the SAT :( That question!
  22. omg hot topic is like the gayest i got shirts there for xmas i felt so gay taking them back i'd shop there only because they have the shirts in size medium (which i like), but they don't have too many bands i like to choose from. Last week I went there to get some hair dye because they have relatively inexpensive mix there ... ... and then I noticed they had some vinyl, so I bought a record that I needed. But I was generally unimpressed by the cynical, cynical capitalism.
  23. Yeah ... I know. I'm a big dog person. I like Akitas and Chows and Labs and German Sheppards.
  24. Labyrinth was cool. They're both good. Labyrinth at least has recognizable actors. Was it Sting or Bowie that was in that?
