How would you charcterize the reaction within the British media?

Hearing how the American media is covering this story, I already see a dangerous connection being drwan between the capture of this obviously evil man and a justification for a war based around lies ... errrrrrrrrrr: bad intelligence. Liberal bias indeed.

I agree. I sighed with relief when I saw the news. I'm not sure about "We got him," though I do understand cheering. Typing this out, Im not sure "We got him" is that much different than just hceering, so I guess I'll just walk the line and just prefer relief.

looks like it ... good day for the world ... nice to have some good news. but the best thing: in about four minutes we're going to get to see President Bush try to use some big words on national television.

I think not being able to understand rap music is a valid criticism seeing how lyrics are important to most people. The irony of this is that rap music allows for the greatest development of lyrics and the messages contained within them because of its format. However, if you grow up on traditional pop and rock music (like I did) then it will take longer for rap to be accessable (as it did for me).

That was last Sunday. I actually don't remember what the previews were ... let me think ... I remember being really intrigued ... ... no, I can't remember. Looks like I'm all talk.

Bugs is kind of weird. Ten is probably my least favorite album ... actually, Yield is my least favorite album, then Ten. In light of their more recent stuff, Ten sounds melodramatic and immature. But I still think it's very good.

I would recommend downloading "December 4th" ... that will give you a good idea what the Black Album is all about ... maybe "Dirt Off Your Shoulders" too.

Definitely. The previews from the last show were really intriguing. I should probably change up the avitar, but Bam is still my hero of the moment.

When they were first released it was kind of weird ... of course, I loved them immediately, but "Alive" seemed to be getting as much publicity because of Eddie's stage/tower dive as the music itself.

I think the Black Album is VERY good, but it's clearly not as good as either The Blueprint or Reasonable Doubt ... but I highly recommend it.

It's too bad you're a little young to remember the hay-day of Pearl Jam, Jacob. Everybody seems to define them in terms of these semi-copy cat bands that have followed. *sigh*
