I went to the dentist today for an extraction and, even though I've been to the dentist countless times and have had exctactions done before, last time I went I passed out so I was a bit nervous and apprehensive. So when the dentist started I thought "think of something nice, think of something nice" and Coldplay of course came to my mind. Just then White Shadows starts playing on the radio. I was like "wait a minute, I'm not imagining it, it IS coldplay on the radio" and White Shadows is one of my favourite songs and it doesn't really get played on the radio that much. It was great! :awesome: PS. I didn't pass out this time, LOL

I think the "problem" The FInal Track talks about is that they refer to "Wedding Bells" and "Christmas Lights" as singles when probably they won't even make it to the album. And I don't think Spain is random, but I do think it's too early to start talking about a tour date. Maybe the author of the article mistakenly thinks that chris presented a new single the other day at the Apple event. :shrug:

It's more personal that way.:) Are you dropping the card at his house? I don't want to sound rude, but isn't it a bit weird? I don't know his home address and it wouldn't matter if I did cuz I live across the world from him, but I wouldn't leave the card at his house if I had the chance. No, I don't think so. Unlike Spanish Rain when a bigger part is similar and you can really tell, the only part I find sort of similar is the melody part of " I always loved you and I always will" in Wedding Bells.There are lots of songs with similar parts and I don't think they've been all copied and I think this is the case, for after all if you really look for it, you will find similarities between lots of songs.

yes, it's really, really similar :uhoh: I hope they get people to listen to their new songs before releasing them so they can point out things like these to them. I know it sometimes may be unintentional (it happens to me after discussing ideas for papers or stuff that I end up believing I came up with something when actually I heard it from someone else) but they should have someone to check these things. I wouldn't want another Viva La Vida drama thing happening with LP5.

I think it's too early for a tour. Unless it's some promotion thing (in the case they release LP5 before the end of the year-I really doubt it- or at least the first single from LP5) , but again I don't think it's true.

yes, it's true...I'm quite happy but I always want more :D Maybe we are feeling a bit anxious to get more news and updates because these past few months have been really quiet. As someone mentioned before, I also miss the Christmas videos, they were great! I wish they had done more videos like those they used to do a few years back. (Although we got some other videos like the ones in which they receive the Postcards and the ones they appear in on roadie#42's blogs and the end of decade sale)
