  9. :D :DLOL, yes!!!! yes!!! actually in college I had a subject called "Language and Written Expression", which consisted of Discourse analysis, grammar, and of course writing (in English, which is not my first language) and in the third level we were asked to write stories, among other things like reports, reviews and different types of essays. the point was that the stories had to be original and you couldn't use just common and simple language ( e.g. she went to the bedroom, she was sad, etc) you had to be "creative" or you would fail. In the composition part of the first mid-term exam I included various phrases/words from Coldplay lyrics. I don't remember all of them since it was back in 2007, but I do remember using "tears stream down your face" from Fix You, adapted "tears streamed down their faces" to fit my story. :D:D I passed my exam with a more than a decent mark ( thanks Chris;) ):laugh3:
  10. Last Wednesday I went shopping with my mum and the whole time I couldn't stop singing "White Shadows", she seemed oblivious to it. Later, I was in the kitchen preparing some snacks when I heard a familiar melody being hummed from the other room. Yes, she was humming White Shadows :D:D:D
  11. Happy Birthday to my favourite drummer in the world ! :D Have a nice day Will!
  12. A few moments ago I was tidying up my room, trying to organize piles and piles of papers from work, the TV was on(Much Music) but I wasn't actually paying much attention to it. As I moved one pile of papers I noticed a paper on the floor with coldplay written on it (it must have been there for months, who knows why it was there in the first place) so I picked it up smiling, I looked up at the TV and right then the Violet Hill video starts playing. :stunned: weird
  13. Last March, if I'm not mistaken. It was when they were in Sao Paolo. I don't have the picture but check out this video on You Tube (about 1:49) [ame= ] [/ame]
  14. yeah Don't Panic! How could I forget:shame:
  15. yeah, I wouldn't trust wikipedia with this:dozey:. Anyways, as I was reading the first "tentative" song titles I couldn't help picturing a scene of one of those Sci-fi movies in which the Earth is invaded by aliens LOL it was a funny mental image  especially with these three: The Beginning of the End Alien Radio Lights In The Sky LOL blame it on my lack of sleep...
  16. OMG, it's beautiful!!!!!
  17. The only song I may say I don't like is Lost+ mainly because of Jay-Z's part. However, I do have my least favourite songs: only superstition, high speed and twisted logic. For years I used to skip "a Whisper" , I would rarely listen to it but it has been growing on me lately for some reason.
  18. I'm not sure if there will be B/C stage the next tour since they like changing some things and surely they will want to try new things, but it was definitely a great opportunity to see them close, even just for a few minutes. I couldn't afford better tickets and seeing them close was something very special. That said, it would be great if they played songs that have been left out from the set list during the VIVA tour like Daylight, Warning Sign, Swallowed in the Sea or Sparks. Chinese Sleep Chant would be great too.
  19. Juan were you the one with the flag? I don't remember if it was during yellow, but I do remember looking at the screen and seeing someone with the Uruguayan flag. But then again, there were lots of people from Uruguay, as well as from other countries.
  20. mmm....well not really Coldplay-related but well... Two of my students have Martin as a surname, and another one's named Jonathan. Also, there's a shop near my house in which they sell things for cars with a really huge "Champion" ad on the front. (it's a brand of batteries and other products for cars, I think) It reminds me of Will everytime I pass by it on the bus. oh, and I notice the number 42 everywhere but I think it's because I now pay attention to it and before it was just another number:rolleyes:
  21. Great Job! It's really awesome! Congratulations, I'm sure it will look lovely on your T-shirt!
  22. cinco meses!!!!!!! a veces parece que pasó ayer y a veces parece que pasó un montón de tiempo...
