very nice post, I myself had been living in london for around 6 months before I plucked up the courage to go coldplay spotting. I saw Matt McGinn, a few roadies and spoke to guy for 5 minutes. Overwhelmed and star struck I tottaly forgot what I wanted to ask Guy and talk about and instead he filled in the awkwardness byu asking me things about myself. None the less it was so amazing to meet him and he was so great! I wonder what they were upto. Hmmm So excited for LP5, and whatever direction there about to take, but im also equally worried they could go in a direction too far away from the one id like

I think anything between July '11 and very early 2012 is a given, I think its most likely to be around October, no sooner because we would have heard much more by now if it was any sooner, also I think the band want to wait a while for the songs to get airplay and into their fans head before they tour on the new material

I heard Life in Technicolour ii in Mcdonalds once, thats the only one I can properly remember. But when I'm about even if I'm tottaly distracted by something, the task in hand, or talking to my friends, I always tune in to a coldplay song the second its starts playing. then I go quiet cos im listening to it :D

gotitans999 is very very good, as is coldplayKB. I often find just watching someone play the song with a good angle and video quality is enough to get to grips with a song. Eventually you will be able to juts listen to a song and learn how to play it yourself. Im getting to that stage now Im tomahawk1505 on youtube, I hope to at somepoint make tutorials for each song Ive covered

The band would NEVER EVER do anything like that. Its one of the rules of their band and their state of mind would never conceed to such influences, their strong. That said, there are comparisons between the pink video they posted and sort of pop representations of being high. I think its more that they were obscuring any sounds in that video and wanted the video to show they are on a high with creativity Anyway, can't wait for the album. Another piece of the Coldplay Jigsaw puzzle is SO exciting
