Whoah. I just listened to Rainy Day, and there is a female vocalist singing at the end with Chris. I need this Emily Bart-Smith for my band! Even though the vocals are kind of overlayed, it sounds like she has an amazing voice!

Starting a band (a talented one) has been a huge dream of mine for a long time. I know some of you may butcher me for this, but I chose the name "Prospekt" for my band. It just fit. If you're curious, I'll tell you why. I know that there's one up-and-coming band called "The Calligraphers". I wish them well. Anyone else have a band?

I'm really sorry, but I have to say this. I find it hilarious that many female Coldplayers make up all kinds of fantasies about Chris, Jonny, Will, and Guy in various bromances. :laugh3: I laugh my head off when I see that stuff.

Yeah, I love the historical aspect, as well. Somehow it makes the whole album seem more epic and more colorful.

That's awesome that they got married to a Coldplay song! My former youth pastor and his wife had Viva la Vida played right after they were pronounced at their wedding. (They're pretty hip.) When he told me that I thought, "That's a great idea! Viva la Vida at my wedding would be epic. Freaking epic." Yes, believe it or not, dudes think about that kind of stuff, too...every once in a great, great while. :wink2:

Wow! Mixed opinions reign! I guess Viva is a love-it-or-hate-it deal.
