So I just scanned about the last fifty pages of this thread and I am happy to see that people are getting more and more excited today, because some older comments (and arguments) were really depressing to read. But maybe that's a good thing, cause those negative comments really lowered my expectations, so the song can basically not disappoint me anymore. :D Oh but now that I realised that, it can disappoint me again. :rolleyes: :lol: I was wondering, can anyone think of a reason why they would post the lyrics days before the release? Just publicity? It seems a little un-Coldplay to me. I mean, they don't even put their lyrics in the booklets. Btw, Dutch radio station (3FM) is doing a special on Viva right now. Feels nostalgic already. ;)

Bright colours are gonna be a huge trend this summer though. They're taking a risk and making an effort with their appearance. :D And I think we could have expected a lot more colour, with graffiti being such a big theme.

These lyrics could be from different songs, would make a lot of sense. But I think the rhythm/bpm in today's video is the same in yesterday's.

Yeah that's what I meant in a previous post. We're all focusing on the lyrics, while we should hear them in Chris' (gorgeous) voice and together with (equally gorgeous) music, because you can't judge them from just reading them. So I'm trying to be open-minded about the lyrics, but I can't help liking some sentences better than others, for now. :shame: But I do have faith in our favourite little band. :smug:
