Wow. I was searching places participating in record store day in my area so that I could place multiple requests, and there were a heck of a lot more than I thought there were.

Yep! I plan on being the first in line. I can't decide wether I want to go to the small record store that's a couple of miles from me in Denton or drive to a bigger one that's in Dallas. Hmmm.

U.S. folks, I would encourage you guys to place requests at your local record stores (if you have any) as well, because the site all of us have been requesting from is just one record store. They are only going to be getting a limited number of copies, probably one or two at best. I'm guessing the pressings will be spread out in different record stores throughout the nation. From talking to the people working at my local record store, they don't have much say over what they get.

I just requested Up with the Birds/U.F.O and The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends at my local record store and they said that they add it in when they request stuff for record store day. They said they didn't even get any of the special record store day items last year. :( But then again, they opened for business just days before last year's record store day. They couldn't guarantee me anything and said that if they do receive the item that they can't place it on hold for me. I have to be there when they open and it's first come first serve when the doors open.

OMG. :shocked2: I want this so badly. I have a record store that participates in record store day right around the corner. I'm going to see if they can reserve me a copy today. If not, I'll buy one from strictly discs tonight.

Heard it played on my local alt radio station 102.1 the edge just yesterday! First time I had heard it on the radio.

So far this album seems pretty darned good! First time I've been excited about something Keane-related for several years! I was not a fan of PS. :\

Oooh! Jealous! I want to see them both so bad! They're both performing at my local Edgefest, but I haven't found anyone to go with me yet!

Going to see Fun. at House of Blues in Dallas on Wednesday March 21st! Just bought my tickets last week. :D

Aww. Thanks! :blush: I really wanted contacts, but my Dad refused to let me have any. I made him buy those glasses for me since they are as close to looking like I'm not wearing glasses as I can get. :P I like them a lot too. Thank you! :cheesy:

Wolf gang is awesome! Saw them for the first time at T in the Park festival last summer. They have a generally adult alternative rock sound. If you only check out one song check out "Lions in Cages".

I'm in the group with the Robyn/ Wolf Gang combo and I'm super excited!! I really would like to see Metronomy, but I'm happy with what I got. :)
