Actually, the album was put on your "purchased" list allowing you to download it if you wanted. The only exception is if you had automatic downloads from icoud enabled. Then it would download to your device automatically. You agreed to this in your terms and conditions from Apple. If you have enough time to whine about 11 songs on your phone surely you have enough time to delete it and carry on living your life.

This. If Coldplay did this instead of U2, it would be hailed on here as the greatest idea ever.

Are you saying U2 doesn't change their sound ? Listen to The Joshua Tree, then listen to Zooropa and try to say that again. I have no problem with them going back right now to a sound they started with like 35 years ago.

Does anyone know if Chris was at the Apple keynote on Tuesday ? A guy on U2 interference says he was and that Chris does the haunting vocals on the U2 song "Iris". I haven't seen any pics though.
