I must make an appearance in the Jonny Buckland thread to say that he was on FIRE last night!!!

They were sooooo good last night! I was a little worried about Chris's voice after hearing he was hoarse earlier in the week, but he sounded great. One of the better vocal performances I thought! They were all fantastic and Paradise sounded so great live. Like you guys, I was totally worried when he ran into the crowd! I think he lost the microphone too. :laugh3: And yeah...I don't think he can ever sweat TOO much. :wink3:

Ok, force was a hard word. She is a Coldplay fan too, so this should be easy. I'm sure someone will upload it to youtube. RHCP had a concert on FUSE not long ago, and I found it a couple days later. Never fear!

Hmm well...seeing as it happened with ETIAW and Paradise, I just assumed the discontented populous would continue. I really don't want to argue in the Chris thread. This should be a happy place where we can joke around. If you want to discuss something you are more than welcome to PM me.

A nice ballad. I can't really hear the riff very well on the video. Not surprised people who want all their songs to sound like old Coldplay are enjoying it. I actually prefer Paradise at this point, but will hold judgement for the studio version.

Oh goody! Now we can have 100 hate threads about how this song is boring and sounds like every other Coldplay song from the past. :inquisitive:

I'm not sure what a leading role has to do with it, but I know she doesn't do lead roles as much now because she doesn't want to be away from her kids. By all accounts she seems to be an excellent mother.

Why can't people just like the song without being criticized for liking it? Maybe some Colplay fans like the synthesizer, like the hip hop beat. It's music...it's art. It speaks differently to everyone. We don't own Coldplay. They are under no legal contract to make a new version of Parachutes every two years. I hate Britney Spears, but who am I to judge others that do like it? What if one of her songs makes someone cry or makes them really happy? I think it's crap, but if her autotone voice brings happiness to another human, why should that upset me?

She could be biased? I don't even understand what you are trying to say. She's biased because those are her favorite Coldplay songs? Gwyneth did a leading role in Country Strong last year. It was not a huge money making movie. If she was the new Yoko Ono as you say, wouldn't she be wanting Chris to have a solo career?
