  1. I do I rememebr having many kittens during our time in the lower leauges, and having even more gusto at times. My whole stance about us having the money is mainly directed at Man Utd fans ( if you can call them fans) for all the stick they gave us over the years, and how they used to rub it in how succesful and rich they were. One of my most bitter times was when United played Middlesbrough in the 1995/96 season to be Champions and we went down, the same season they got beat Southampton and blammed it on the kit. This same season we helped them on several occasions by beating or drawing with their title rivals.. they paid us back like that... ! to this day I will say that result was dodgy !
  2. Great News for City http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/9364334.stm
  3. People have always mocked city, before the money, there is a long history in the forums on this forum going back 8 years for all the grief I have taken I deseve every sucess we may have in the near future and grasp the moment.
  4. I changed that a long time ago !!
  5. Why does everyone slate Manchester City on here... come one guys, they (we ) are making the English Leauge ( Premiership) more intresting. We have put a spanner in the works... and I am sure we will find away with the UEFA rulling soon enough as our owners would not pump so much money in anyway. Another thing, I have seemed to be have proven correct over a period of time about Mark Hughes being a shite manager for small teams. Steve Ireland has proven on to be a shite player too, and so was Richard Dunne the donkey of all liabilitys-- To the song of Radio Gaga kolo toure, yaya toure , we still love you.... http://www.mcfc.co.uk/Video/Interviews/City-v-Wolves-Toure-brothers
  6. We won again.. and now find ourselves at the top of the English Premier Leauge... Long Live Mancini...

  10. He´s a BLUE ! Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has wasted no time in stoking the fire between his new club and their cross-city rivals Manchester United. The Bosnian joined City from Wolfsburg for a reported fee of £27m last week. "I have heard a lot about the fans and that most of the people from Manchester are Manchester City fans," the 24-year-old said at a news conference. Premier League leaders United are two points ahead of City in the table, with two games in hand. Since billionaire Arab tycoon Sheikh Mansour completed his takeover in 2009, City's spending has eclipsed that of their local rivals at Old Trafford. City also angered United in the summer of 2009 by displaying a "Welcome to Manchester" poster on completing the transfer of Carlos Tevez from his advisors, the Argentine striker having spent the 2007-08 and 2008-09 campaigns on loan at United, who had deemed an asking price of £25m to be excessive. United manager Sir Alex Ferguson retorted by branding City a "small club" while later describing them as "noisy neighbours" after his side's controversial 4-3 derby victory in September 2009. Dzeko's signing is further proof of City's financial clout and the striker added that he was relishing the prospect of playing for a club he believes are well equipped to match his own ambitions. "I saw something else in Man City. It's a big club and I'm an ambitious player and I think we can have a lot of success together," he continued. "It's a project. I need to say it's a very good team with a very good coach. It was three-and-a-half beautiful years with Wolfsburg and we had a lot of success, winning the league for the first time in our history. "I was very happy there but I wanted to change, try something new and better and that's why I'm here." City manager Roberto Mancini hailed the signing of the Bosnian international, who has scored 66 goals in 111 games in Germany, including 10 goals in 17 league games this season. "I am very happy the club bought Dzeko," Italian Mancini stated. "I think he'll be a very important player for the future of this club. "We wanted him in the summer because we knew he was the perfect player for us. He is different from the other players we have. Now we have a good mix. I hope he can score a lot of goals like in Germany. "I think we spoke with him six months ago for the first time. We wanted to know if there was a chance to buy him but we do this now in January. "It's important because now we are in a good position in the league. With one player like him we can improve in the Premier League and the Europa League. We have more chances in this moment." Although Dzeko's signing is expected to trigger the departures of fellow strikers Emmanuel Adebayor and Roque Santa Cruz, the Bosnian will still form part of an impressive forward unit available to Mancini, alongside Jo, Mario Balotelli and Tevez.

  19. Our Games we have to play until the Derby look intresting and could be reshueled. Due to the FA cup Wolves H 15th jan Aston Villia A 22 Jan Birnigham City A 1st feb West Brom H 5th Feb Man United A 12th Feb (may be resulded due to the 5th Round of thr FA cup) Fulham H 28th Feb if the derby is put of to another date this would ideally suit us. We are capable of winning these games. Even 4 out of 5, leaving us in good place come March.
  20. Roberto Mancini has been named as the Barclays Manager of the Month for December. City's excellent recent form has seen them rise to second place in the table and included a hat-trick of wins over the busy Christmas period. Mancini has also guided the Blues safely into the knock-out stages of the Europa League, and he wins the award from Barclays for the first time since taking over as City manager just over a year ago.
  21. Good Point gained.... come on City, we can finish 4th maybee 3rd
  22. i wish if anything they made this law for the summer. Bars in Barcelona are mostly in residential areas, and after midnight the neighbours can make complaints about noise. So bars can end up getting a fine if they complain about their customers once they had a few, as people get loud once they had a few drinks. I am missing my smoke with my café con leches. Its not so bad when I go for a drink, we will have an election in Spain very soon, and hopefully someone will promise to reverse this law, well at least for Bars. School playgrounds I tottaly agree. I smoke, however when I was a kid I thought it was disgusting that the teachers smoked in the playground.
